"PRIVACY ISSUES COMPLAINT"
I've been a member of CCU for a few years now. I joined at this branch. The staff are AMAZING, but that's not why I'm writing this review.

The reason I'm writing this specific review is because I have an office nearby and established another llc that requires me to have a separate business bank account. I had several business related questions to ask in helping me identify if CCU would be a good fit for my company.

I noticed remodeling was done at the branch, it looks nice and clean. I caught the manager's attention (Karen, who's actually a REALLY helpful an NICE person) while I was in line and asked if I could speak with her about opening a business account with CCU. She said oh that's great, come see me when You finish Your banking. I noticed she was sitting at a desk right by the front door. I mean, 'RIGHT BY THE FRONT DOOR'. I was in the back of the line, so I could hear Karen discussing with an employee about a Members matter. It was kinda personal in nature, and it got me to thinking why is she sitting there at that desk. Karen and the employee wasn't speaking loudly at all but I could clearly hear their conversation. I don't know if this is a great idea.

After I was done with my banking I came over and asked why was She sitting there, and if We could speak in Her office. She awkwardly says this is Her office. I'm perplexed, because isn't the Branch Manager supposed to have an office to discuss personal banking matters with Members and staff. Is it professional for Her to be placed in the position to have employees coming up discussing personal matters in front of other Members?

I told Karen that I had personal business related questions, and asked if We could speak more privately. She took me to her old office space which is now a conference room. I've never seen a conference take place in this branch. She sits me down in this conference room and begin this back and forth dance of running to her computer referencing my personal information, printing stuff out, running behind the counter to grab forms and paperwork. This was bananas. That was not efficient at all. How the environment is set up, is unprofessional and time consuming.

Though Karen was able to explain CCU's motto and banking guidelines, and clarified the Business Banking aspects. All I was thinking about is how many people walked back and forth pass her desk going in and out of the branch. I felt anxiety just looking at how She had personal and semi-personal items on Her desk. In a Management position with a desk placed at the front door, in a time when people are mobb stealing in droves. We've all seen the videos. How perfect do She have to be as a Manager to remember every single time she walks away from that desk to lock the drawers, lock the computer, pick up Her personal keys and items, secure them. Pick up Her work keys, make sure there's no paperwork with Members personal information left on the desk. What kind of stressful work environment is CCU creating with this? Maybe I'm just paranoid. There isn't much identity theft these days, right?

I ended up going to Bank Of America down the street, and guess where they immediately took me. To an office. I have yet to make a decision on which bank I will open a business account with. But I wish I would've taken a picture to add to this review.

Oh, and as I stood at the front door to leave I could see all the computer monitors from that vantage point. The privacy screen didn't matter because they were facing the door. The desk configuration is terrible. Go visit the branch and take a look.

I'm a regular client at this branch. I go to other CCU Branches, but this branch stands out in so many ways. I'll start by saying that if You don't run down there and open an account ASAP You're missing out on the best customer service since 1950's banking. Free Checking & Saving, Free Cashier's Checks, No Minimum Account Balance Requirements. Truly Free Checking. They do not make them like this anymore. All the staff know me by name, and not just my name, but other members names as well. As a matter of fact I know all the staff by name as well because they've all helped me at some point in my membership.

This is banking done right. I challenge other banks to be efficient and effective in banking.

This is one of the best credit unions hands down. They have the friendliest customer representatives. I have had great service time and again. The interactions are positive and helpful. Teachers definitely have a friend or two here.

Artist Salon

Great people, and excellent service. Also, google maps should edit CCU's gps coordinates to the rear entrance on Hudson across from 523 S Hudson, instead of the Lake side. The free parking is in back but google maps routes to the front door on Lake. Best credit union ever.

Kind, helpful, & friendly are the words I would use to describe the people here @ CCU. They are transitioning not only from one building to another, but from one floor to another. Once they're all settled into their new location, it'll be business as usual. Wouldn't trust my money anywhere else!!

The best bank hands down!! Everyone is always so pleasant and always smiling. I definitely feel like family when I go to CCU

Heard that their atm was gone so I called. They told me the atm at their new location was operating. Took a 20 minute drive over there, NO atm!! Couldn't believe the lack of care they felt in order to misdirect me like that. I wonder how many others got this treatment
