We really wanted to like Brian. He did a good job for us previously. But if you check Yelp, you will see from others with similar reviews this year, he dropped the ball and left us hanging at tax time. He told us several times he would send his portal link and never did. We were considerate of his time and took him at his word that he would send the link but by the beginning of April it was clear that we needed to cut him loose. Terrible thing to do to your clients. If it weren't for the fact that there was an extension for filing for California residents, we would have had to file for an extension while we found another accountant. We wanted to support a local business but Brian's service failed us.

Brian is everything I like and want in a CPA. He is an up-to-date accountant who is very knowledgeable. I immediately felt at home and comfortable working with him. He's relaxed, but gets the job done. He's also easy to get a hold of for questions, either via phone, text or email. I've recommended Brian to several of my friends for next year's tax season, and I'll certainly be back. My 2016 tax refund was much more than expected, due to his extreme diligence. Brian is the best CPA that I have come across after all my years of filing taxes. Brian has guided me through a maze of IRS jargon and paperwork and is helped me at all levels of IRS dealings everything from basic filing to massive IRS debt . He not only has the knowledge to help you make the best decisions for yourself when dealing with this massive government entity but he also has resources that if you find yourself in dire straits with this giant government conglomerate you can rest assured there's way to relief. All in all this is a great place to do business with!

Brian Stoner has been my CPA for the past 28 years. During that time I have been filing over 9 returns ( Trusts, Partnerships, LLCs, Personal, Corporations) annually (State and Federal, which actually totals 18 returns). Brian is the best CPA/Advisor I have ever worked with. He is conversant with all of the changes in the Tax Law, and has put me in touch with some wonderful Attorneys and Financial Planners. Brian is creative and imaginative and has helped me set up and structure the businesses I am in. He is totally non-judgmental and totally honest. I have had at least 3 IRS and FTB audits that Brian has handled for me, the results of which were all in my favor. He has worked with my Attorneys in setting up Trusts and Wills. When my parents and my wife passed away, the advice and tax planning that Brian gave me saved a significant amount of money. He is very generous in the advice that he gives and he is very fair about the fees that he charges. He has helped me plan in advance for any yearly taxes that have been due, so there were never any amounts due that I had not provided for. You can feel comfortable asking him any question and he will give you an explanation that is easy to understand. Brian has a casual and friendly manner about him, and more importantly, he is a consummate professional. I am an Attorney and I have sought the advice of tax and legal experts in my time, but nobody, in my experience, is more qualified, knowledgeable, and solution oriented than Brian. This is a person you meet once in a lifetime.
