I’m never the one to write reviews but I had an absolute nightmare at this branch with the banker Sharma. I came in to open a checkings and a savings account and she ran my credit without my consent. She tried to sell me a credit card and I clearly denied, came to find out she opened a credit card AND a line of credit. She lied saying the final signatures had nothing to do with my credit. I have been in the banking industry and know bankers have quotas and get acknowledgments for their upsales. I called customer service, cancelled the unauthorized sales and filed a report, but I do want to give awareness I do not know who else she does this to.

I apply for home equity 2 months ago they run my SSN and my wife SSN and called me that I am eligible and approved for the loan, then I submitted all the necessary documentation and follow up every day but I just got a call today that my application is denied for no reason, even I don’t know why crazy people and worst banking system

Canceled my account after having it for about 8 months. I've been overdrafted about 5 times and charged even though I've paid it the same day and promptly. Waste of time talking to them because they lied about deposit date to me and my partner as we both wanted to figure out what was going on. I unrecommend this bank.

The staff is friendly, but they are very negligent. A while back i had to cancel my account because someone had gotten my bank information, and had "deposited" fake money into my account. I immediately froze my account and went in, despite no longer living in Modesto. Took care of the account, and closed it. Fast forward a few days abs i get a letter about owing them money for "depositing a check with their app". This was the fake money, they charged me for something i had not done. So, i called the bank, told them the situation AGAIN, and after a too long phone call, they told me they would have to reopen my account to get the money back, because apparently they couldn't just give me a check. So, i agreed, and they told me that they would call me so i can go in to pick up the money. I never got a call and then i started an overnight job so i couldn't even call them or go to meet them due to my schedule. Fast forward to today, still no call and then i suddenly get a letter in the mail saying that i owe them an overdraft fee. Why? Because they activated my account, never called, and the bank just kept charging a maintenance fee for the account existing, unused. They are nice, but this kind of negligence on their end is unacceptable and i will never bank with them again.

There are ten people in line and one teller window open. Asked if they were going to open another window and they said no. It's one thing if they just got rushed out of nowhere and were not prepared but it is absolutely always understaffed when I have to come into a physical location. I never get out in less than half an hour. If I'm lucky.
