Lived here for a year. Staff is great, management is brutal. It’s a great place to stay as long as you don’t mind a barrage of construction noise eight hours a day from 7 AM to 5 pm , Monday-Friday.

Caution to anyone taking a tour on a weekend. It’s deceiving.

All the amenities are basically useless during the workday due to the constant parade of drilling that you can feel through the whole building. If you’re trying to open up your windows in the summer, good luck.

top tier some of the worst quality management I’ve ever dealt with. Only way to get an answer from them is if you stop paying your rent.

Moving out in two weeks and couldn’t be happier. Don’t even have another place to stay yet, but I’d rather be temporality homeless than have to stay in Bevel for another 12 months.

Josh, Lety, Santiago, Eliza are all amazing along with the rest of the internal crew. I will miss them but not much else.

Goodbye Bevel!! Thank God.

If you a prospective renter, you should know a few things. They are purposely not telling you about the construction that happens all day. The brokers have been reportedly showing at off times so the renter doesn't know about the drilling sound that shoots through your apartment at 7 am. And goes on all day. My whole floor emptied out closest to the construction site and they’ve been lying to rent them. Disgusting!

Please see attached email. The doorman leaves at 11:30 pm. This door to the package room was left open. Its 2:13 am. Ive called the police numerous times on homeless people roaming the building all hours of the night.

I lived here for 2 years and outside of the doormen, It was an awful experience. I had flooding issues out of both of my HVAC units that destroyed one of my TVs and my PC which I was never compensated for. I paid for a parking spot which was nice at first until they decided it was OK to park behind me and block my spot which made getting in and out difficult. I talked to management and the super about it in the first year of my lease and they said they will make a spot for the super closer to the wall but they did nothing. When I brought up the issue again they just said the super needs a place to park and I basically have to just deal with the inconvenience which was unacceptable to me. I'm paying a premium for the convenience. Dealing with construction noise from their commercial unit directly below me at off hours was awful as well. They would start construction before 7AM on weekends which is illegal. I would raise the issue with management and get the generic apology for the inconvenience and that they will pass it over to upper management. Nothing was ever addressed so I had to file noise complaints with the city. Goose management is the absolute worst to deal with and probably a good idea to avoid their buildings at all costs.

Building is your average new luxury rental but the construction next door makes this apartment inhospitable. It’s 7am-5pm every day for the last 8-9 months and it’s so loud that you can’t have a normal conversation inside.

Pros -
1. The neighborhood has amazing grocery stores & subway lines.
2. Slightly cheaper rent. They offer solid deals all the time.
3. Plenty of closet spaces.

Cons -
1. The apartment gets unusually cold during winter because wind seeps through floor to ceiling windows.
2. Poor onboarding experience - I had to wait for my apartment to be fully painted for 4+ hours after the scheduled move-in time.
3. Occasional flooding issues
4. Poorly designed amenity space. I used the gym regularly but they could've done a better job with its rooftop, party room in the basement, gaming room.
5. They charged more than 4 dollars for each laundry run. That's not normal. My current apt charges 2.35 for using the exact same machine.

We lived here for almost 3 years, we didn't had mayor issues, management was responsive when needed. The best part of bevel are the adorable people that are in the front desk and the porters ♥️ made amazing friends that are now family and we will definitely miss this place.

A great experience at The Bevel for two years. The front desk staff can't be beat, Tony the super makes everything work and is quick to arrive, and Goose Property Management is responsive when contacted about bigger issues. (Special shout-out to Pessy at Goose who was really helpful in getting us ready for our move-out.)
