While we had our house for sale with another company, Cole Newland made the mistake of going into our home for a showing instead of the house next door that was also for sale. The 2 things that bother me are, why did he not check the address as all of the houses on our street have mailbox numbers and how did he not verify the company who had the listing since our neighbor was using a completely different company? I contacted our realtor when we got home from a weekend camping trip because all of the lights were still on in our house and the back door to our deck was left unlocked. He informed me at that time what happened and assumed the house was returned to the way it was before Cole made his mistake, which it was not. This "simple mistake" left our home vulnerable while we were out of town. Cole needs to be more aware of his processes as a realtor to double check the facts of the houses. Our realtor failed to inform us that the Supra box was even being accessed while we were away and that the incident happened. We had to find it on our own and investigate ourselves in the matter. Very unprofessional on both realtors.
