This review is for Berkshire Hathaway realtor Mariya Doncheva. We were serendipitously paired with Mariya through Zillow when we requested a showing for a house in Bangor. Upon first meeting Mariya, we liked her right away. She was kind, extremely knowledgeable, down to earth and very open with us about what we should expect as first time home buyers in this market. Throughout our house hunting journey, Mariya was there for us whenever we needed her or had questions about anything. Though we were first home buyers and had no idea what we were doing, she was so helpful and extremely patient with us, even when we were calling her at random times throughout the day to ask her a multitude of questions. She was always honest and making sure we were doing what was right for us financially, and she was always double checking that we were 100% certain about making decisions before acting on them. When she finally found the house we fell in love with, she worked extremely hard for us to come up with the most competitive offer possible. And it paid off! We got the house! And when things got stressful or problems arose, she was there every step of the way working her magic to get things done right. We honestly couldn’t be more thankful for Mariya’s hard work, professionalism and all around wonderful character. We couldn’t have gotten the house of our dreams without her. So please hire her if you’re looking for a realtor in the Bangor area! She is the absolute best hands down!

I had a bad experience working with a real estate agent over in Washington county out of Calais. Drove past my house and showed same comparable houses to buyers. My suspicion was that she was working for the locals to make sure property wasn't shown to anyone outside the area. The replacement Real Estate agent asked me about well and septic system. Due to being listed as failed. And to think of the state water test we had done,and septic system pumped and inspection. Not to mention after phone calls and text messages to Brittany Halloway. No disclosure was received, just recently went to Broker office in Bangor to get. Your Company policy is not for the seller,but to accommodate the buyers and locals. Will be listing house again. And under no circumstances will Berkshire Hathaway be allowed on my land !!

I found a MLS listing in Searsport, and the lisitng says the name of your agency, but not the name of the listing agent. So I went to your web site, and it says that you're closed today, which leads me to believe that your'e not too aggressive in selling your listings. Why would you be closed on the only two days that working people, looking for a home to buy would be off work to view the home? Why also would you not put the name of the listing agent on the MLS listing and the agen't phone number?
