We got an opportunity to work with Bengal Brokerage twice and in both instances the service we received was impeccable. They are small team of diverse, efficient and flexible people that helped and guided us through out the buying process by providing all required info about the houses and the area, put our interest forward in dealing and negotiated much lower price than what was listed and made sure all the repairs were done before the closing. It’s a one stop shop and provides mortgage services as well with competitive rates. This helped us immensely in closing the house pretty quickly (less than 30 days) without much hassle and headache of coordinating between the realtor and the mortgage provider. My name is Halimur Khan.

I’m a university professor. I was living in Colorado Springs and teaching at the US Air Force Academy.

In 2014 I moved from Colorado Springs to Plano, Texas and moved into an apartment. I had a house in Colorado Springs, and wanted to purchase another home in Plano. I met Dr. Faizur Rahman of “Bengal Mortgage and Brokerage Firm” through a friend, described my financial situation and my expectations of price for a house as well as a budget. Dr. Rahman walked me through the complete scenario of buying a house – and all related considerations. As it turned out I needed to get my tax documents, credit report, etc. For the next year or so, I established a good credit report, and prepared other documents required to buy a house at a good interest rate.

Dr. Rahman has a fantastic Team of employees – Mr. Tarun, Mr. Raffee among several others who are absolutely outstanding in providing the real services that one needs: these two walked me through each of the complex issues and helped me through the maze of issues and documentations that I needed. Once my paperwork was in good shape and in hand, Dr. Rahman and his Team took no more than two weeks to find us a home that we’re still living in – after almost six years!

Not only does Dr. Rahman seems to know the intricacies of finding a good home, he appears to be the absolute best in two things: (1) solving one’s problems in some ingenious way, and (2) finding the buyer the best value for the house, and the best mortgage/interest rate in the market.

My son, Kingshuk Khan, recently graduated from UT-D, got a job and wanted to buy a house for himself for investment purposes. Naturally, he went and talked to Faizur. In about a month or so, Kingshuk closed on a house – just two months ago, and luckily before the interest rates began going up! He bought the house for $500K, and in just the past couple of months the house is now approximately priced $20k more! Kingshuk has also been very happy with his experience. And, I’m sure he’ll want to continue to work with Faizur and his Team.

I’m very happy with the experience I had with Bengal Mortgage/Brokerage, with Dr. Rahman and his Team, and I’d recommend his company with absolutely no reservation – and with highest commendation. I also wish them great success in helping folks find their dream homes!
