I asked about fees to sell a property in their area and was told that there was a listing fee of 5% (about $15,000.00) just to list this property along with a buyer's fee added to cost to sell property. You want to talk about greedy people, this takes the cake. These folks are crooks, BEWARE.

I’ve been Realtor myself for over 23 years so I recognize an outstanding realtor when I come into contact with one. I live in California so Gary handled the sale of my mother’s home in Mountain Home. There were quite a few things that came up that typically would have been the responsibility of the seller but Gary stepped up up for us on several occasions and took care of them for us. Alex Stubenfoll came thru in a big way for my little family. Alex, while representing both buyer and seller, was HONEST, responsive, helpful, and it was truly my pleasure to work with her.

My wife had just given birth to my firstborn son in the only home we had - a travel trailer - when we first reached out to Alex. Our broker (Nosari) had informed us that it would be a 60 day wait to close on anything.
Alex, after hearing the situation, was able to make everything happen in under 20 days! Including some hard bargaining and negotiating several counter offers between myself and each of the 4 part owners of our soon-to-be home.

We decided in July of ‘23 we were going to move. I had 5 realtors on my friend list. How do you choose one friend realtor and not hurt another ones feelings? You can’t. (I have to add here-all the realtors in my friends list are incredible people with fantastic work ethic).
I interviewed 7 realtors I didn’t know a single one of them! I didn’t interview anyone that was recommended. I’m stubborn like that.
After 7 interviews I was ready to list. I found a young lady that we decided upon. Knowing that Nick worked over the road all week long gone-This young lady came to my house and helped me prepare to list. (interjecting again-I liked my house a lot better after preparing for listing).
I packed about 37 boxes-On October 26, My birthday-we listed the house.
We drove all over! We looked at several properties-
We searched.
Property hunting is exhausting!
I had my bestie searching! Exhausting-pure exhaustion!
The entire time I was searching i was looking for a three bedroom, three bathroom, just on the outskirts of town with an open floor plan - a small front deck-a screened in porch-a barn-and a few acres. It occurred to me that I was looking for our house. I was looking for a small town with traffic that wasnt terrifying-I was looking for incredible neighbors that property attached to ours…. and chickens and the sound of a donkey playing outside. I wanted to sit on the screened in porch and watch the deer gather in the evening.
I was looking for home, when i was already here.
Yesterday was a huge day for us Boeddekers. A huge day!
We officially took our house off of the market-Nick gave notice working over the road.

About that realtor… Alex Stubenfoll is an amazing person beautiful on the inside and out. Alex was here-Alex was proactive-Alex was tender and exceptional at her job here! Alex made sure that our little fur babies were always number 1 when the house was shown. Alex sent Flowers, anything I might need… Checking in on me. Alex was incredible during the entire chapter… This is home-this is where i raised my kids-this is where i had my career-this is where mama and daddy had their practice…. Home. There. is no place like home. I explained all of this to Alex and she held me and hugged me while my tears rolled down my face…
