This company has a small, family-run approach to car rentals, given the remote location of Unalaska, they offer very reasonable prices for daily rentals. The car was reliable and served well, but the interactions with Tony made the experience even more personalized, unlike chain rentals. Credit card is required and must cover car insurance as they do not offer any insurance packages.

Tony from BC Vehicle Rentals was so helpful in planning my trip around Unalaska. This rental company is a small mum and pop business and given the remoteness of Unalaska they provide very reasonable prices for daily rentals.

My car was reliable and served me well, but my favourite part were the interactions I had with Tony which made for a personalised experience that chain rentals just don’t provide.

Credit card is needed and must cover car insurance as they do not offer any insurance packages.

Very helpful. Although, atleast when I rented, they do not offer loss-damage waiver (LDW) or Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).

Looking into a credit card that offers primary coverage as opposed to secondary coverage would be worth the investment. There are only a few CC that offer that option, so choose wisely

Given the remoteness of Unalaska, you have to be patient, to wait for someone to open when you arrive etc, overall a reasonable vehicle. But be warned taxes are an additional 25% on quoted price.
