The check in with Alex was great, really a nice guy.
The room was large! But very comfortable, very clean and secure.
I liked knowing how security was on top of everything on the property. I felt safe and secure here.
As I travel alot for work, this was a great place to stay.

CON: the area is full of riff-raff homeless scum. Not the hotel's fault...just how it is in Eureka.
The check out is ridiculous: There is a kiosk in the lobby in which you use to check out-to get a printed receipt for business, I had to wait until 0700 for someone to arrive to get it; making me late to my work.
The breakfast is a joke: store bought prepackaged mini muffins and health bar from the local grocery store. You would do better going to the fuel station next door to get something.
The woman that handled my check out: Very nice and professional, she did apologize for the issue of waiting for a receipt, but explained it a manner I was acceptable too.
OVERALL: Hotel was a comfortable, clean and decent stay.
Unfortunately the surrounding area(not their fault) is fraught with homeless people, hookers and drug deals going on around the corner.
I definitely would stay here again.

My Two Cents

Touch of modern with a touch of old. Interesting place, it's solar, bedding is clean and comfortable, breakfast and coffee are bare bones. Pool looked clean and beautiful. Often, you're greeted by a friendly person behind an interactive screen. I'd stay here again. I'd suggest they get rid of the carpet 100% and keep cleaner floors. Felt safe, great surveillance on parking lot. Definitely coming back!

Foul and unsafe for families. Not only does this property discriminate against their guests, they claim to be non smoking and cigarettes were found in the window. Marijiuana was discovered underneath a recliner by my infant son and almost consumed. Not to mention the fully unsecured door that faces Highway 101. Management refused to address my concerns and the drugs left by previous guests. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Beware of staying here. Was just here for a night stay and got wonderfully upgraded to a king bed but only to be greeted with a room that smelled of bleach when walking in. An AC unit that didn’t work but had black electrical burns around the electrical socket. Cigarette burns in the mattress cover and blankets. Mold in the bathroom and to top it off they are running a scam where they won’t give you your deposit back saying there was a stain on a towel but only used one towel and that was to wash my hands. They said they have a picture but it is just of the towel and stain but not where it was in the room at all. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

Pretty disappointed with our stay here. I was not planning to stay overnight in Eureka, but my car broke down and I needed to get a room. To the hotel's credit, they were able to accommodate me quickly and affordably. The room was not nice, but it was fine because I didn't have anywhere else to go. However, I booked two nights with the assurance that I'd be able to cancel the second night for a full refund if I let them know by check-out day of. When my car was repaired and I went in to the office before check-out to cancel, the hotel refused to honor that employee's statement and charged us for a second night. I don't believe this is the fault of the management at the hotel but the owner, who refused to talk to us at all. I don't recommend that anybody stay here.

The breakfast is no breakfast. It’s muffins 1/4 size of a regular muffin. “Blueberry, chocolate cup or banana” , I had to request it from the last behind the counter. She put 2 muffins in a bag and handed to me, other than that, there was coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. That’s it! Very small cups for coffee. That’s not breakfast!!

HORRIBLE, was incorrectly marked as a “3 star” on Priceline. Thin walls my neighbor kept me up all night so I had called in and complained as I was still awake at 430am. So then I get a loud knock at my door at 7am about my complaint when I was finally sleeping Then I missed breakfast getting there at 9:05am, no one told me the breakfast times. I’m getting a 100% refund, DON’T STAY HERE, go somewhere even cheaper, trust me!!

This place needs work. Food is cheap and some items were spoiled. Rooms are dated and area is sketchy. The girl working the evening shift was the best part of our stay. She was super sweet and helpful. I think her name was Erica? Because of her hospitality is the only reason why I gave a 3 star for service.The guy who checked us in had had zero personality and appeared to hate his job. Other than that, we will not visit again. Not worth the money.
