My family recently sold our childhood home in Livermore with myself as the lead contact, and Barbara Benotto couldn’t have made the endeavor any easier and more profitable. She shared her incredible expertise with humor and patience, helping get us through the complicated job of emptying and rehabbing the house.

I started the realtor search early in the process since I didn’t know the local market and what kind of improvements would be necessary for an optimal sale. None of the realtors I interviewed made me feel entirely understood and reassured that they would work with me on what I knew might be a “long haul”, with 60 years of treasures and memories to be sorted among the family members, along with getting the house put in an optimal sale order–especially since I wasn’t living near the area.

Then Barbara was referred to me and I immediately felt that she heard and recognized my ambitions and motivations regarding the project. I was excited to start working with her. I relied on her for vendor recommendations, since I was not from the area anymore, and every single one was excellent. Barbara stayed in full contact with the vendors and myself, mediating the small issues I did have, and often meeting with them in person at the house when I couldn’t be in town. Due to medical issues on my part the house clearing out took much longer than planned; Barbara gracefully accepted the delay with the perfect combination of patience and the occasional but well timed nudge. I always felt supported by her, never pressured, despite my (inadvertent) foot dragging. She additionally was communicative and gracious with other family members involved in the sale.

Barbara was indispensable for me to restore our unique Mid Century Modern property to its original elegance and then assisted us in finding a buyer who appreciates the home and neighborhood just as my parents would have loved. I can’t imagine working with a better realtor than Barbara Benotto and wish I had more houses to sell in the area just so I could work with this joyful professional again!

You would be crazy not to use Barbara Benetto. Not only is she organized, she is excellent at customer service, organization, project management, and is an excellent communicator and personable. We lived in our sold home for 37 years and we needed hand holding. From the start she was proactive and showed us and explained to us what to expect. She asked us weekly to join her to look for homes. She also placed us on a daily email of homes that were for sale and coming on the market. When we got frustrated and nervous, she was always calm and together. We can't thank her enough for the help and organization she provided. She also has so many contacts if something needed fixing. You will not go wrong to hire Barbara Benetto. We would use her again in a second. Go for it!!!

This is our second review for Barbara since we were a repeat "customer". I say customer in quotes because Barbara treats you more likely friends/family.

My wife and I recently decided to move back to our hometown and we gave Barbara a heads up. Within a short time she was able to find us potential buyers OFF MARKET through her vast network of friends (whom also have been looking to buy for a while). After having the potential buyers do a couple walk-through's we received a fair market offer for our home. This saved us $ with prepping the home and yards, vacating the home, cleaning it, etc. Also, we got to move and finalize the close of escrow on the day we needed. Barbara did a great job discussing our needs to the buyers and thankfully they were very receptive to it and willing to work with us. This was a great and smooth transaction that worked for everyone. Highly recommend working with Barbara if you are buying or selling. She will take care of you. Thank you again, Barbara!
