Someone gave me a bad check. Ascend states they are FDIC. I called to verify funds and the representative assured me that the check had cleared, been verified and monies available. I withdrew the funds for the individual. Then ASCEND sent me threatening letters and phone calls. They made me repay them and I had to give them both of the stimulus payments I received. I run a business and couldn't close account. I'm in the process of switching now. I DO NOT SUGGEST this bank and have advised others to steer clear of ASCEND as well.

never able to get anyone on the phone. the phone number they have listed just repeats unhelpful options over and over again. there is no option to speak with a REAL person, just the “operator” repeat the menus. doesn’t even deserve a star 👎
