Called and spent over an hour on hold before deciding to just walk in. There were two workers in there chatting but no other customers. The person that tried to help us (Pat) had no idea what he was doing. The worst part was he was acting like he was progressing but we could see the screen the entire time! He spent 30 minutes entering my birthdate without the dashes over and over again when the error pop up message clearly telling him to use dashes!!...It was a waste of time. We left without coverage.

Apparently they have cut staff down to one person, and I was going to have to wait 2 weeks for a telephone appt. I cancelled and called an independent agent, who helped me in 5 minutes.

Glad to sign you up and get a plan going but after that good luck on anything else. Needed help editing plan and might as well just talked to a wall. They do not listen. Just want to make sure you pay before the due date.

My thoughts here on Blue Cross Blue Shield have to be separated from my thoughts of the medical community completely... I am aggravated everytime I hear someone ask how much something in medicine cost in the answer is never straightforward it is always do you have insurance... Has a very healthy 55 year old male who has no existing conditions I find that health insurance is more expensive per month than a brand new Mercedes convertible would cost... Personally that sounds pretty outrageous... I would love to blame Blue Cross Blue Shield and I personally think they have their part to play in the astronomical part of insurance... But I also believe that the core root of the problem is that many people in medicine believe they have a right to become millionaires.... Just to serve people... On the other hand I understand it's not an easy job... But as far as Blue Cross Blue Shield goes I believe that they do a reasonably good job
