We have been members of ABFCU for over 20 years. They have steadily become our go to for big banking. Their rates are so much better. They have advanced their website over the years. We recently applied for a new vehicle loan. They were able to take our application and get a check to Florida in less than 24hrs! Super impressed Gala and John! - and thank you.

Almost every time I call with a question or issue, I am treated with respect and get to have a pleasant conversation with the ABFCU banker or loan officer. There was a random once or twice over the last 12 or 13 years that someone was a little curt with me, but, overwhelming, everyone is nice and cordial. I have one account and have financed two vehicles through this credit union, and the rates and payment options cannot be beat!
With the most recent vehicle purchase, the loan officer even made an exception to the standard protocol for me given my account status and excellent payment history, which was very nice of him.
All in all, always a good experience.

Beware of installment loan grace period, it counts against you. Also i did not like how they handled shutting down online banking which made it difficult to make payments.

Customer service is great in the small window you get it. For someone who’s clientele has a lot of blue color jobs that make it difficult to do business during “normal hours” I’m very surprised they haven’t figured out how to give any kind of customer service after hours or on weekends. Emergency’s happen and sometimes it’s imperative to deal with your bank after hours. Can’t dispute fraud charges if they happen on a weekend have also been stranded with a broken down vehicle while traveling due to the fact I couldn’t get any customer service help on a weekend

Worst bank I’ve ever had. I have had them for almost 10 years and the customer service has always been terrible. If you’re ever in a bind or need something fixed on your account, you cannot count on them to do anything. All they will do is sit and do nothing all day long. Teak your business elsewhere. I now have an account with Bank OZK and so far their customer service is outstanding. This bank should be named Arkansas WORST Federal Credit Union.

Edit to add after the owner’s response:
There are tons of people saying your customer service is terrible. You can sit there and say you “strive to make members happy”, but you’re obviously not doing anything to change the serious flaws your branch has. Maybe take this feedback and actually do something about it.

They have good rates but can't get anyone to answer phones. They will add an insurance policy for you for 4k even though they recieve your proof of coverage (it was blurry and they failed to notify us it was not a clear copy). We will probably take our perfect credit score to another bank next.

ABFCU is the worst bank I’ve dealt with. They do not care about you and will talk down to you like you’re worthless. I talked to a loan officer and was asking for help and the Loan officer seemed like she could care less about my situation and that there was nothing she could do about it and was not even willing or concerned to find a resolution. I hate to even write a review like this, but what they’ve done is wrong. And now I’m facing the repercussions. Do not do business with this credit union. Learn from my mistake.

I've had my account here for many years. I'm recently very very displeased with the customer service in the member services and the loan department. Everyone used to be so nice and helpful. Staffing was changed and I have not a single encounter with even mediocre customer service. I will not be a member here much longer and our entire family and fleet will also be changing financial institutions. I do not recommend.
