I am absolutely terrified of dentists due to a horrible incident in the past. Not any more!!! Dr Mylander staff were friendly and knowledgeable and courteous, and I was not an easy patient. Dr Mylander explained every detail of my oral surgery and as stated, I didn't feel anything, absolutely nothing! I will obviously be using him as my dentist for anything in the future. I had a bad experience with a dentist when I was very young which scared me for life and caused me to be deathly afraid of seeing a dentists. I lack the vulcabulary to express in words how much I appreciate Dr Mylander and his staff. Everyone was awesome. They completely understood my fears. They see it all the time. They went above and beyond to put me at ease. The work performed was absolutely painless. I highly recommend Dr. Mylander to anyone who fears going to the dentist. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 10.

Very nice people. Rachel was wonderful even tho I had not had a teeth cleaning in 3 years due to traveling and Covid. We were only staying a month in New Bern and soonest we could schedule was for the day after we’re supposed to leave but they managed to place us with a couple of canceled appointments. Dr Mylander was very thorough and is also a sailor and we chatted about boats for a bit. All the staff was extremely friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Mylander and his staff are exceptional. I realize many people just do not want to go to the dentist, it's one of those things we do out of necessity but dread it all the while. Well, once you have your first appointment with Dr. Mylander and his girls, you will never have to be afraid of them! They are so sweet, and patient, and very accommodating for each individual patient's needs. I highly recommend them to anyone with dental needs.

This office, from the time of calling to make the appointment, to coming in the front door-are all above awesome. Amy and Amber, the dental assistants always go above and beyond to make me feel at ease with any procedure. Missy, the office manager treats me like family!!! And Dr. Mylander is the best! He knows I was once “dentist shy” and he has always taken good care of me.

After several unsatisfactory experiences with another dentist, Dr. Mylander's office was happy to help me with an emergency procedure on very short notice. Staff explained the procedure, as well as the estimated cost, including what the insurance might not pay. The staff was very pleasant and Dr Mylander was quick and thorough, yet didn't make me feel rushed, despite being a midday, non scheduled procedure. The entire office went above and beyond what I expected, and I'm happy to continue treatment here where I feel like the staff cares.

I have been seeing Dr. Mylander for quite a few years and have found that he and his staff are wonderful. I had to have a few crowns due to large, old fillings and the procedures went well. He explains everything and answers my questions. The routine exams are thorough. Rachel, my hygienist, is fantastic. I would highly recommend this practice.
