In update when rent is due going on 5 days. No step by step on how to set up. Half of the time I call on a regular basis they can't find me in their system after 7yrs you guys made a mess and I expect way more help with no more delay and all out accounts transactions current. I Hope update was worth it last month in this branch I cannot risk being evicted. closing my account. Update Nov 7th I called the new numbers and she said she couldn't help me

I am so disappointed with a software update, several days of no access to account then wait again then Zelle won’t work right once I’m able to get half way thru showing extra 3 numbers which is not even mine, your software update is not even helpful and made it more inconvenience , the old app was way easier access

I wanted to break away from the client services offered by the large national banks.

I live in the Palm Desert area, Riverside County and even though American First Credit Union (AFCU) did not have a physical presence I went online and started working through the new customer process with Melissa Leon, I was overwhelmed with her approach.

I am now a new member with American First Credit Union, I want to share my experience with Melissa who was very professional, knowledgeable, positive, helpful, made it easy, getting me set up. Always very polite and I could see her smile on every call.

Melissa offered me not to hesitate to use her as my point of contact moving forward, and I certainly will.

Let me state that in my 40+ years in the Real Estate and Mortgage Banking industry I commend Melissa Leon, Member Service Consultant 1, in your Buena Park branch.

Been a member here for over 14 yrs. It keeps getting worse and worse. Tried to close a CD today, 1month ahead of schedule, so I knew there would be a penalty. It was a 36 month CD so I figured with 1 month left it would be a small penalty. Boy was I wrong. 18 months of interest was my penalty! Are you kidding me!? The teller says sorry we restructured the penalties so they're steeper now. When was I notified With 1 month left, that sounded ridiculous so I asked the manager if he could do something and he simply says no. The service has really gone down. I wish I could say this is the first time with problems but it's not. Just added to the list and this was the tipping point for me.

5/8/2024 = 0 Star = Finally closed 2 accounts Today , Member here since 2008 . This is my main bank for loan ..

3/1/2024 = 1 Star = Still good costumer service but too slow on approving my new loan, im very very disappointed, i been member here since 2008 , i got 4th loan in this bank and never missed any payment , try on my 5th loan until now is still pending , they don't recognized your history of your payment, i went for another union bank and in 3 days i got my approval , from now on i will never recommend this bank .

2019 = 5 Star = Very Nice costumer service so far and good thing is Low interest on car loan.

My husband Robert Johnston and our youngest daughter Megan went to set account with them to receive their Social Security benefits and they were rejected so if you want a credit union to accept your Social Security benefits don't go here. If I could give your establishment none I would.

Literally just called right now and a man named nick answered super rude I understand your about to close but you don’t need to have an Attitude about me calling what an A hole! You need better customer service buddy your job is to talk to people for a living horrible choice for a hire! And was not even a min long call 😳

Customer for service takes forever to get a simple task done. Have to fax or mail to change address. Wait times are about half an hr to an hr. Not a customer friendly credit union.
