If you're looking for the best Credit Union/ banking institution in the Inland Empire you found it! Customer service starts with a sincere smile & welcome from Alice. I had a lot of questions before I opened an account. All of the staff that I talked with did an excellent job of addressing my needs & concerns. I have had an auto loan with Alta Vista for about 3 years now, they have been wonderful from the start, my family has been with this credit union for many years. With today's world/economy times have been really rough for a single income family of four. Alta Vista and especially Benjamin Lopez has been so kind-hearted and gracious with my situation, making me feel seen and heard. Any other bank would have faulted me or dropped me completely with the financial hardships, whilst Ben continued to cooperate with me and hear what's happening in my life, and we always have a goal in mind to get things achieved. Again my family has had this credit union for many many years, and we all continue to say how lucky and fortunate we are to have them for support, moreover I am forever grateful for this company. I tried to close my accounts in 2019 to go overseas and work with US military as I have done for 20 years. I was told I must talk to a Ms Stephanie. She told me I could not close my accounts but had no explanation! I tried countless ways to access my app, contact by phone with 14 hours time difference, letter to the President and emails. No Responses!!
Now, in 2023, Mr Benjamin Lopez replied to my phone call and very professionally and efficiently closed my accounts!!! It took a scam via Discover credit card paying my Alta vista account incorrectly that over drew my accounts to obtain a real person to help me close the accounts! I have lost countless money due to this criminal act.
I hope the CU rewards Mr Benjamin Lopez!!! He is a valuable, honest and conscientious employee. Wish the world and CA had more people like him!!!
The CA business entity needs to investigate these criminal actions!!!

Alice Mitchell at Alta Vista Credit Union is the best. She is always the most welcoming, knowledgeable, and just plain wonderful person to deal with at the Redlands Branch. She's been there for as long as I can remember (which is rare in banking) and I hope she never leaves.
