We worked with Shawn for both buying and selling and it was a great experience.

Shawn never pushed us to buy any properties, he is always very cautious about the drawbacks with each property and be very frank. He is also very proactive -- there was a time our offer wasn't the top 50% and we were only able to get into the bidding stage thanks to Shawn proactively reaching out to the seller agent and fought for us. Thanks to Shawn, we were also able to save $20,000 on the property we eventually purchased as he convinced me to not over bid.

Our selling experience was even better -- the market already slowed down a bit after the historical rally of H1 2024, more so for townhouse market. We were able to sell our townhouse after just one open house weekend at a satisfiable price, while a similar property in the same community open housed for 6 weeks and eventually delisted. It wouldn't have been possible without Shawn's fantastic staging and listing/negotiation tactics.

I also wanna give compliment to Luna Zhu who offered us tons of advices for renovation ideas.

Overall it was great to work with Shawn and AEZ realty. When time comes for me to sell my property again, I would choose to work with Shawn again in a heart beat!

We bought our first dream home under the help of AEZ Realty. I used to work with another highly-ranked realtor in bay area but I found Shawn from AEZ is much more professional. His exceptional logical/analytical reasoning skills and long-term focus gave him inside-out knowledge on the bay area housing market. He also helped us to understand our needs better so that we don't spend money on something we don't actually need. Beyond that, Shawn is also an expert on remodeling, e.g., the remodeling cost he estimated for us during open-house is within a 1k difference than the real. My wife and I are so grateful to have AEZ as our realtor!

- 2024 update
This year we are so fortunate to have Shawn help us again. We did 3 transactions together in 2024. Selling old home at historical high price, buying a new home as the runner-up bidder, and buying an investment property. As always, Shawn is so professional and sophisticated, always strive to help maximize our gain and minimize our cost. He also gave me lots of useful tips to get the rental property started. Not a single complaint.. I wish I could give 7 stars..

Shawn is an incredible realtor with in-depth understanding of the market and helps analyze the pros and cons of each house and zip code. He is very patient in controlling the buyers impulse and plays devils advocate on locality and house condition to make sure the house is really worth it. He never forces or pushes to make an offer.

To top that Shawn has great bidding experience and is also good at bargaining. He patiently answers our questions about remodeling, house insurance, handymans etc. even after the escrow closed.
