Staff was nice and I felt like I received speedy service (even though I had to go through all the stages of triaging while actively hemorrhaging instead of getting a room right away) but I wasn’t super happy with how clean the facility was. I was responsible for trying to control my bleeding in the waiting room while being triaged and I ended up making a mess in the restroom. I notified the people at the front desk and the restroom was not attended to the whole time I was being triaged. There were a few people who had to use it after me, so they probably had to clean my blood off the floor and the toilet seat themselves before using it. I also had 2 cockroaches in my room. 1 climbed up the wall while a nurse was in my room, she said she would get someone to handle it, my Mom ended up handling it herself 10 minutes later, and no one asked about the roaches the rest of the 2 hours I was there. I was also ordered an ultrasound that went against my post op instructions from a recent procedure I had. After some back and forth between the doctor and I, I refused to have the ultrasound done, told my primary care specialist about it the next day, and she said, “thank god you refused it. An ultrasound wouldn’t have found anything and it would have made you more susceptible to infection and complications. They clearly didn’t know how to treat you properly”. Anywhooo, I’ll attach a picture of one of the previously mentioned roaches. May it rest in peace.

I love Adventist Health. You are my first choice for my care.
However, no waiting was overloaded, and then, think for for the young lady who came out and started taking every patient to their opened rooms. I know that you are extremely busy.
The doctor was fine as well. I only wished that the assistance were a little bit more attentive.

The nurse was great.
Thank you for your help

Went to labor and delivery, I’m 9 months pregnant, with swollen feet and all the staff were extremely kind. They got me all checked out and everything was good. I look forward to delivering my baby here.

Overall with the provider the visits were good. Now with the staff especially the call center was a bad experience. I spoke to Ivette/yvette not sure how her name is spelled but she was very rude. I called around 2:20 to let Dr dereks office I was running like 10 min late bc I was at a another appt with my baby at the douty office and Ivette told me if I didn’t get there at my appt time (2:45pm) I was not going to get seen because i had to fill out papers and Dr was not going to want to see me if I was late. But her tone of voice and how she answers with attitude was not professional. She even raised her voice when I told her I’m just calling to notify that I might be 10 min late and she raised her voice and told me okay and I’m telling you that if you are late we won’t see you because you have to fill out papers and can’t be late you have to arrive 15 min earlier in order to be seen. But I hanged up with. Her and still arrived to my appt around 2:50 and filled out the papers before I even got called back. If I would have listened to ivette I would have not gotten seen and for me this appt was important bc of my health conditions and I had waited more than a month for this appt. If call center employees do not like to answer phones they shouldn’t be working there especially if the patient isn’t being rude and is talking nicely and you get answers in a very rude tone of voice. Now Dr derek visit was fast and he understood my concerns. I look forward to seeing him again.

I was experiencing extreme pain, so it was nice only having to wait approximately 20 minutes in the ER before being taken back for immediate testing. Our nurse was exceptional, providing regular updates and checking on me multiple times throughout my stay, while displaying a wonderful personality. The entire staff, including the CT and ultrasound departments, as well as the doctor, were highly informative and caring. I was thoroughly impressed with the ER staff.

The treatment and doctor were fine, however, the wait for care was unacceptable.
I was there 8.5 hrs to get 3 stitches. I also wish I had been given an antibiotic shot. My regular doctor gave me one the next day to be on the safe side. The nurses and doctor were great and very nice.

I absolutely loved my nurse I had. He had the most pristine bedside manner. So thoughtful and mindful of my needs and was gentle putting in iv. I was in so much pain but didn't want to complain or put more on it to get medicine but he saw that I was in pain and appreciate all you did to make me feel comfortable thank you sir

This is the worst ER that I have ever been to in my life. I am a nurse, so I know how they should be treating people, and this place has the worst beside manner that I have ever seen at any hospital. It is obvious that none of them (doctors, nurses, etc.) care about the patients and want to do minimal effort to just get done. They see you as a number, if even that, they treat you like an unwanted parasite. Even when I pressed the call button, that was never given or explained to me, no one came. Besides doing vitals, which was just taking them and straight leaving, no one came and saw me or communicated with me in over 4 hours. I will add i was crying off and on because of what I was dealing with and how stressed I was, they saw, they didn't even ask if I needed anything. When the doctor finally did come (which I was crying at that time because of this experience, so yes he was aware) he was rude and just said my hemoglobin looked fine, so everything is good but hadn't even looked at my other test yet, which was just imagining! I just walked out. After over four hours a half result and a 5 second unrespectful conversation. This is unexcusable and all of this staff should be educated on proper patient care and bedside manner. Again, as stated before this is coming from a nurse.
