We have been using Jessica for years and have always liked her. We received an IRS notice stating there was an error (missing W2); which was provided to her hence her error. This error cost us an additional $1600 in interest and penalties. We understand mistakes happen and we figured it was an oversight. However, we were reaching out by phone and email (for over two weeks) to get assistance with how to respond as there is a deadline by the IRS and complete crickets from her. We had to consult with another accountant (Panda Accounting) who was able to look over everything in 15 minutes and gave us a response. It’s very disappointing that Jessica couldn’t have the professionalism to contact us back. Needless to say we will no longer be using her.

Jessica has stolen $2000 from the 501C3. She is blaming it on their merchant services, stripe. But this has been going on for over 4 months now. We did a dispute with our bank for refunds and Jessica denied it and told us she doesn’t know what’s going on. The bank provided us proof. She won’t respond to emails. Horrible business owner to act this way. And the worst part is I’ve known Jessica for a long time. This situation is not over and I’ll provide more info as it comes in. Stay far away from them!!

I feel extremely disrespected by this office. I have been a client of Jess's since 2013. I had no issues over the last 12 years, but this year... was horrible and I took back any referrals I gave to friends and family.

I had recently moved out-of-state and was guided to upload my documents on a Secure Portal. I used to physically drop them off to Jess's office, but was unable to, as I was no longer living locally. Files were uploaded 04/01/2025. Yes, I realized it was close to the due date, but between moving to a new state, new job, new house, I did the best I could and was totally fine if an extension needed to be filed.

I waited a week (04/08/2025) and called to inquire if my documents were received. The representative said that they were received and a possible extension may need to be filed with the IRS; which, I understood and had no qualms. Another week goes by with no update (04/14/2025 - tax due date.) I get it, it's tax season and its busy! I'm a reasonable and understanding person.

The same representative I spoke with previously had answered and stated that my documents had not been reviewed and my file had not been started, but... "Jess would work on them [this week.]"

A few more days roll by and I thought, I wonder what the excuse will be the next time I call to check the status of my account...

It got pretty much to the end of April to the first part of May 2025. No updates. No apologies. No anything - and this is for someone that had been a client with her office for 12 YEARS.

I called back and told the representative to not even have Jess bother with filing my taxes. I told him I was taking my business elsewhere and his reaction was of no concern. There was no apology or sincerity in his voice about a client of 12 years ending business with the office.

I referred several friends and family to Jess and I am advising them to steer clear, as the office clearly has changed within the last year and otherwise don't show any sincerity or care towards there long-standing clients.
