Very quick service on a Friday late afternoon. We were welcomed immediately and handed a form to fill out then someone was ready within 5 minutes to process the id.

Make sure you bring the correct documents- the person at the front may not know or ask you. The people waiting were taken care of by the time we left so that was nice to see! Very clean- looks like a Chase bank/Hertz interior. I would consider AAA again after this experience.

Sad and bad. I had appointments made on line to see an agent to change my policy. After we checked in I'm told, agents make their own appt schedule. That was not an option online! So I've been waiting nearly an hour for an agent. Bad form AAA. my wife and i have been members for over 30 years and I'm starting to wonder why 😠. What's the point of online appointments if they are superseded by a private queue, that I knew nothing about, let alone how to get on it.

Member for many years, first time in person interaction. Service is worse than DMV back in the day, employees seem to hate their job. Attitude, arrogance, took every opportunity to lash back at customers. “ you can pay but MUST wait for paperwork in the mail” “ITS GOING TO BE A WAIT FOR MORE THAN 30 minutes” “ we can help you at the window for your transaction you are going to HAVE TO WAIT for a agent” “ we will remove a member on your policy! THATS WHAT YOU SAID!”
A greeting at the beginning and a thank you at the end could make a difference.
When you hate your job… just move on and let someone else a try!

I love that you can take care of DMV services here. I went in to renew my registration, but didn't have any DMV paperwork. Tyler helped me, and got everything squared away. Highly recommend the Pinole AAA branch for DMV services. Ask for Tyler!

Very unprofessional office. I tried calling to make an appointment on Friday at 4:30, they never answered the phone, yet office closes at 6:00. I recalled moments later, same thing. I tried calling a week later, they hung up on me twice. You hear them manually putting you on hold, without asking "can you be put on hold?". It's like they go out of their way not to talk with you. The online scheduling doesn't work, hence why I had to call them to begin with. Why can't we give a "0" star?

I just want to say I am no longer insured through AAA as of today after my experience and the up the ass cost in premiums. I have been a member since high school and have an incredible driving record so the cost and stale attitude received today is a slap to the face.

To say the least, this establishment is a joke. A waste of corporate dollars. While customers are sitting and waiting, there is zero interest in service or efficiency, staff members standing around, flirting with each other. Watching a senior employee asking their subordinate if they got them something for Valentine’s Day while customers are sitting around waiting for help is HIGHLY inappropriate. There is little to no urgency to be of assistance, just a bunch of empty vessels waiting around for a paycheck and sadly, waiting to go on home.

Upon arrival, I was also told the line for wait time is long so I should just call the 1800 number. Are you kidding me? Then after being turned away to come back later to receive help, I had insurance questions and was the only person in line. Waited 15 minutes. So then I decided to call the 1800 number again. As I’m on the phone, the service member finally makes herself available to help but too late, the 1800 number got me help faster than she could turn the corner.

I said it already and I’ll say it again, this is a joke of a company and a waste of business dollars. Not only that, AAA’s reliability, cost and quality is a total rip off now. Was told as of 2025, all insurance companies raised their premium cost by 40% in California due to the increase in fires (which apparently AAA won’t even cover). How does that even make sense?

As I write this, I would like to say I just signed with a competitor insurance agency for the same full coverage contract for half the cost. Good-bye.

The reason why I'm giving this a five-star is because of the AAA Team member "V." Very respectful. Very thorough. Didn't make me feel rushed. Made me feel like a person, not just some customer. She actually engaged with me when her I asked her questions. Which in the past, I never got that type of interaction. I understand places our business. But businesses are only around. When you make the customer feel like a person.

Waited 2.5 hrs !!!
Then they closed on me.
Had 2 come back the next day 2 wait in line again !
Not cool....
