I look at all of these positive reviews and wonder if I somehow slipped through the cracks. I've never felt so ignored by an insurance company.. We had homeowners insurance through them, set up by our mortgage company. I had tried to set up a car insurance policy with them. We sent in all our car information and never received a quote (i waited months), so we went with State Farm.
The receptionist was nice the few times I spoke with her. Most of the times I called, they didn't answer; so I would leave a voicemail. They never returned my call, so I would call again a few days later. Same thing. Then, when I got a letter saying my yearly rate was going up, I called to figure out why. The only answer I got was, "Everyone's rates are going up. If you want, I can see if I can find you a lower rate." I waited awhile and never heard back. So, we switched our house insurance to State Farm. The entire experience was infuriating, and I hope no one else has to go through it.
