Mister Langham is one of the most dishonest, disrespectful, and detached landlords with whom I've ever had the displeasure of signing a lease. Our property should've been prepared a month ago. There are several maintenance issues that are dangerous. Langham blames his inability to manage his schedule on "employees not coming to work," but in reality he's just the king if mismanaging time, resources, and employees. DO NOT waste your time on this washed up guy who "has been expertly managing properties for over 40 years."

Update: I have reason to believe he discriminates based on race. A white neighbor has a nicer house & backyard with a structurally sound fence by comparison, all their maintenance needs are met, they're the only ones with access to outside water, and they didn't want to be mentioned in this review.

Our maintenance requests only BEGAN receiving service after badgering him via text and posting this review (we're a mixed household). And yes, there's STILL maintenance work to complete. But my back fence (rusty nails and screws included) was magically mended after saying I'd post photos.
A non white neighbor said they've been here a year, Langham "ignores them most of the time," and out of the 12 months of residency, "the dishwasher worked 4 of them." Their back fence is literally falling down, as well.

Update: A neighbor said their downstairs toilet has never worked and Langham consistently ignores service requests.
The washer -- coin operated like the dryer -- (THE ONLY ONES FOR 4 UNITS) has always leaked. Today dirty, gray water started backing up into it with a neighbor's clothes. Langham told us we're all waiting until Monday (this is Saturday afternoon) because he doesn't want to pay weekend rates to "the Maytag man." He also left the keys with "the Maytag man," so neither he or us can even open the washer to investigate. Since they couldn't get the landlord's attention, I helped a kid - trying to do laundry alone - bail out the washer with a Stanley cup and water pitcher since Langham has no intention of fixing this while it's actually a problem. We have a new tenant moving in today, and they'll have to wait 3 days or longer to use the washing/drying facilities because there's now a waiting list.
For shame.

Update: The washer was still malfunctioning and full of dirty water Monday.

In two years of renting, Langham Realty offered a great rate to me and my family without sacrificing any quality in service. Service and repair were always scheduled promptly, although we rarely needed such attention. We were so happy, we even chose Doug to be our realtor when we decided to purchase a home.

A credit check for a luxury condo is understandable, but for these crappy apartments it's not even worth the hit on your credit. I lived here for almost two years & maintenance takes forever and everywhere there was water there was some kind of black mold. I would consider checking other places before landing on this one.

Our A/C unit went out the day before the 4th of July.. whew it was hot! Doug brought over window units first thing that morning! This made a world of difference! The morning of July 5th, (because everyone was closed on the 4th) there was a completely new A/C unit hooked up to the house. Excellent customer service!
