Exact same as the other reviews I have read. The “assistant” is beyond rude. Everything is a bother to her, and calling her out for being rude only gets you hung up on or an even more snooty “no I’m not” like a pathetic crybaby. You work for the public, dont like it, quit. Total trash.

If I could give them a zero i would! The receptionist is rude and very unhelpful! She does not help at all and treats you as if you are bothering her when you call into the office. I have revieved no court papers even though I know extensions have been filed. I have been left completely in the dark in the entirety of the situation. I truly feel horrible for anyone who has to use this place. I will say the actual attorney when you get to speak to her is nice and helpful I had to go around the receptionist to even be able to speak to the attorney because the receptionist will tell you that she isn't in and then will tell you that she has no information for you at all and that you do not need to speak with her. The only way I was able to speak to this woman was by going around the receptionist and speaking to someone else in an entirely different building and they relayed the message to her that I had been trying to contact her. She then called me and I spoke to her. The receptionist that works their is a horrible woman who should clearly not work in any type of public service job or office. She is truly a sad excuse for a receptionist. She clearly thinks it's okay to treat people as if they are less than her and do not deserve any type of information. I would also like to note that since the whole process has started we have not received a single court paper pertaining to the situation which I find very odd. I am not an expert on this but I would think we should of received something by now since it's been over 6 months and I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it is probably that said receptionists responsibility to send any papers to clients so I guess I shouldn't be surprised we have not received a single piece of paper. If I knew where to go to file an actual complaint against her and find out if we should of received something by now I would.

They are EXTREMELY rude, especially the secretary. They need to learn some manners and how to speak to people properly and how to treat people!!!! Would NOT recommend to anyone(I'd represent myself before ever accepting their help)!!!!!

John Brechbill is amazing! I was a bit nervous until I watched him on my daughter's behalf. He looked at every angle and more. He knows what he's doing. If you're innocent and you need someone to defend you, he's the one!!

John Brechbill brought all the talk about public defenders come true. He is condescending, lazy, and is completely okay with providing the bare minimum representation he is required to. As it seems he wants to be a no nonsense attorney (which I greatly appreciate) it is his own nonsense he indulges in, repeating the same things again and again and dismissing any information that would require him to work. I truly hate leaving bad reviews, however I cant look away from my experience. If you find yourself needing any kind of legal representation, whether it be family court, probate court, or criminal court, it has been my experience that this attorney will intentionally dismiss your right to have proper representation, so he doesn't have to perform any work needed to do so. He also displayed insecurities towards other attorneys, expressing his concerns of them “being upset”. This man is an embarrassment to the legal system and will fit the mold perfectly that supports public defenders are not good lawyers. Your in a bad position if you are represented by him.
