Let me start off by saying I'm a small business owner in a line of work that may be unfamiliar to most in my area (the business side of it, at least). With that being said, I have been searching high and low for a good CPA to meet the requirements that I felt I needed. I set the bar pretty high, but that was most definitely not an issue for Melanie. Within the first 10 minutes of our consultation, I knew she was exactly what I was looking for.

For starters, she was very knowledgeable about her line of work and detail-oriented, which was what I was mainly searching for. I needed someone who could find all the little details and utilize them to my benefit, and she proved herself to be just that. Keep in mind that I did not initially inform her of everything I was looking for in a CPA; my point is that the entire interaction felt very genuine.

With all this being said, Melanie is quite the renegade when it comes to handling—or shall I say "hacking"—your taxes. She dances outside the lines of traditional accounting, pushing boundaries to achieve innovative solutions for her clients, all while respecting the legal authority of the IRS. I left this consultation feeling confident, knowing I have Hack Your Tax on my side.

What an absolutely amazing experience. I found Hack Your Tax on accident. I was calling places all over town because I had a very unique tax situation that I really didn’t feel confident with going with just a regular tax preparer. My attorney highly suggested an extremely knowledgeable CPA, his suggestions were all in my hometown in California and I really didn’t not want to fly out just to do my taxes. And I found the absolute most perfect business and person to assist me in getting my taxes filed. Melanie Radcliff is not someone who you come across often in life. She truly cares about you, and of course ensuring that you are protected and properly represented to the IRS. I had previously spoken to my attorneys CPA and he made it seem as if filing my taxes this year was going to be a painful and arduous process. I came into see Melanie basically in a panic because I waited to almost the deadline. And she identified that I was not okay got me something to drink, a snack to eat and brought me back to earth by answering all my questions in ways that not only made sense to me, but also broke it all down to me in terms that I would understand. I’ve been to many tax places over the years and I absolutely hatred going in and watching someone put the numbers in and have this awkward silent moments.
