I wanted to shoutout Lily for being one of the best building managers I've had - EVER. I live in a complex in Los Feliz and woke up this morning to the building being deep cleaned. Floors. Walls. Etc. The building is always so well taken care of, they're always so quick to fix any issues, and she truly cares about her residents. <3

Lily and Joselyn are amazing to work with. They’re also very friendly and responsive. I was approved in the same day and signed the lease 2 days after. They made my move in super easy and seamless. This is truly of the best companies to work with. Thank you guys for everything. I love this place

First off, once I was approved, Lily and Josselyn demanded first month and security deposit "by the end of the day" before even showing me a lease, which made me very uncomfortable. Then, when they finally produced a lease 3 days later, it said "no parking" in one section and "no parking until after construction" in another section. I wanted to make sure both sections said the same thing so I wouldn't be screwed out of parking, and instead of taking two minutes to revise it, they said "the two don't override each other." My dad and I had paid $80 for the application fee, and then they decided to go on to another applicant rather than changing one tiny part on the lease when I told them I was ready to sign and send the money if they could do this. Avoid this company at all costs.

I've lived in 12 different apartments in my life and I've never had a management company in any of them that has come close to Ryan and Sierra in terms of responsiveness, punctuality, and communication.

I've lived at one of their properties for over 3 years now and I'm moving out to live with my girlfriend. I'm actually kind of sad to be leaving their building because it's by far the best-managed place that I've ever lived.

Every time I've emailed Ryan with a request or even just a question, it never takes him more than an hour or two to respond. Moving in was a breeze, they keep the property well-maintained, and they are constantly improving their processes.

We moved to the apt. at 601 Angeleno Ave and had a great experience in every way. Application process and move was fast and easy. The office closes pretty early and I remember their willingness to coordinate the time for me to come and fill out an application . I found the site coordinator Sean to be friendly and transparent. He was very helpful and quick to respond to emails. The building was kept very clean and all issues (if any) were taken care of right away. Apartment manager, Jon, was very friendly and made the experience even better. Super helpful, courteous, efficient, went above and beyond at managing and maintaining the building. Always made us feel like we were living in a great community! The only reason we ever moved out is due to buying a home, otherwise we would still be living here. I would recommend anyone looking for an apartment to contact Sierra Investment Properties!

Sierra Investment has a great team going. We have been renting from them for a while and I can honestly say that they have wonderful communication with their tenants. When I call them about a question or a work order, I receive a call almost immediately. The maintenance crew they send do a great job and we never have issues. The building is always kept clean and organized. I'm happy with them.

For the last year I lived in a four plex on Chevy Chase Dr right near Adams Square in Glendale and I loved it! I cannot say enough good things about the landlord Lily and the owners of the property. Lily is the only landlord I've ever had that is extremely quick to respond and she's always friendly and very helpful.

I had an issue with one of my A/C units pretty early into moving in and she was very proactive in having maintenance come look at it and replace it when it couldn't be repaired. She contacted me multiple times throughout the situation to update me on what the plan was.

I suffer from some fairly serious health issues also and she's even sent me a few emails just checking up on me to make sure I was okay because I live alone, that meant a lot to me as I’m in California by myself without a support system. She's the only landlord I've had that has treated me like a human being.

The neighborhood is adorable and the neighbors who have lived there for awhile are all very sweet. It’s my favorite of all the LA apartments I've had. I was super bummed I had to move but hope the next tenant loves it as much as I did!
If you’re tired of renting from slumlords, Lily and the owners of Sierra are a much welcome change of pace 🙂

The property I was shown was very nice, and the staff was responsive enough. However, we wasted 800 miles of driving to view our top choice unit and spent $80 on an application, only to be informed after applying that they would not accept our dog — part chihuahua — because the owner was concerned that the breed barks too much. This policy was not explicit on the listing, which only stipulated that "non-violent" breeds were allowed. Had I known of the non-chihuahua policy ahead of time, I would likely not have inquired about the apartment in the first place. (Or I would have verified whether they would accept my dog before we got too far).

A letter from my current apartment manager about the dog's quiet profile — as well as photos demonstrating that the dog was a mix of several breeds — was not enough to change anyone's mind.
