Do NOT trust Allison as your leasing agent.
Our experience with her was a nightmare from the start, and if I could give zero stars, I would.
1. She told us the manager approved a specific rental rate. We paid for and submitted our applications based on that agreement. Then, she came back saying they were increasing the rent by $100 — after everything was submitted. It took several stressful days to get the price back to what we were originally promised. Totally unprofessional bait-and-switch.
2. During our tour, the pool was filthy — full of trash, algae, and cloudy green water. When we asked about it, she swore “it’s never like this.” That was a lie. We later spoke to tenants who said it’s always like that.
3. She pointed to a trashed unit below ours and told us it was being renovated and that no one lived there — also a lie. We met the actual residents, who’ve lived there for over 15 years.
4. She promised she would personally address the stray cat issue. There are cats shitting and pissing all over the property. Nothing has changed. That promise? Useless.
5. On move-in day, the unit was disgusting. There were poop stains in the toilet, pubic hairs on the counters, and the place clearly hadn’t been cleaned. A window was broken. There was no hot water. We notified her 10 days before about move-in concerns — and she ignored us for five straight days leading up to move-in.
6. And where was she during all this? She left the country — literally went to Paris — right when we were supposed to be moving in and needing her help. No heads up. No handoff to another contact.
7. After we moved in with no hot water, she completely ghosted us. Ignored every call and text for days while we were trying to get basic living conditions addressed.

8. In desperation, we called MyUnits, the company listed as managing the property. Their snotty receptionist condescendingly told us that Elizabeth Maddox, the owner and lead broker, would get back to us. Surprise: she never did. We were lied to and ghosted yet again.

This was truly the worst leasing experience we’ve ever had. Allison is dishonest and unreliable, and the company backing her is no better. Absolutely zero accountability, follow-through, or professionalism. Avoid this agent and this company at all costs.
