We love everything about this business. During our remodel and home improvement experience we had some horrible things happen with our contractor. We were untrustworthy and simply just tired of the experience but Home Town Appraisals came in and were professional, accommodating, timely, detailed and very friendly. This is the first bad review I have ever written, but this appraisal company did not provide and accurate assessment of our property. Please read on because I am not giving a bad review because we felt the appraisal was too low.... This company provided an assessment with inaccurate property discriptions. I'm not sure how this happened because the gentlemen stood in our house while we showed them the deeds with exact property descriptions to be included in the appraisal. They throughly messed up our appraisal to the point that the refinance/mortgage company said the best option was to have a different appraiser redo it. They totally disregarded the documentation given to them and included a different, but HUGE amount of land that was never to be included in the refinance of our loan. At the least I would expect a professional appraiser to contact the mortgage company if they had questions about the documentation I was giving them. They totally ignored what was needed and what was asked of them and just wrote it up. They do not listen and messed up our appraisal to the point that a new appraiser was the best solution. If you are searching for a good appraiser, do your research because having an incompetent one is costly and frustrating.

Very Professional, they were pretty much spot on and they will listen to what have to say.

Overall maybe a little low but not a lot, I dont know them but no one deserves a 1.
