Kathi Olmstead was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I initially contacted Kathi as a recommendation from our friends who had also bought a house from Kathi. Kathi is so knowledgeable about the real estate process!! She helped us find the perfect home and was there every step of the way. We are extremely happy and excited about our new home and so pleased we found her to help us. Kathi has earned our trust and we will be using her again when we are transferred in a few years. We worked with Kathi for buying and selling our home, and she was phenomenal to work with. When buying, she bent over backwards to take us to different homes and ensure that we found the right place. Closing went smoothly, as her team was very familiar with VA loans and were incredibly proficient. When we decided to sell our house, we called Kathi immediately without a second thought. Despite it being the dead of winter and around the holidays, Kathi still sold our house for a profit in 44 days! As with our purchasing experience, our selling experience went just as smoothly. We used the same team of people, and despite it being a fast closing with a VA loan, everything went off without a hitch. My husband and I have purchased/sold two other homes, and none of those real estate transactions went as well as when we worked with Kathi. I would recommend Kathi to anyone looking to buy/sell a home in the Anchorage/Chugiak/ER area. Kathi did an amazing job of selling my house in Eagle River. I unexpectedly had to return to my hometown 4000 miles away to care for my parents. I had no opportunity to prepare for the move. Kathi Olmstead and her team went WAY above and beyond selling our uncles home. Our uncle was in terrible health and his home was in need of serious repair. Since we live 2500 miles away (CA), Kathy and her team helped facilitate all of the repairs and inspections. Kathi handled the transaction with complete professionalism while dealing with a very tough transaction. My wife & I are Real Estate Brokers so we know how much work she did. Kathi Olmstead was an excellent Real Estate agent for the sale of our home. We sold our home within two weeks for the price we wanted. Kathi was straight-forward, down to earth, and honest from the start. She pointed out a few minor touch-ups for us to do and kept it simple knowing what would catch the eye of a buyer. Kathi was a huge support for us from the beginning to the end of the home buying process. She made sure we got the house that we really wanted!
