Total scam. The person I was talking to was blaming California for my price increase that was more than 3x what I was paying for a few months ago. Ended up going with another company that was cheaper than my old rate. Buyer beware: Not everything local is better.

My insurance keeps going up, which i suppose is understandable. But i drove less than 5000 miles a year. On top of that, they've changed companies from National General, to Encompass Insurance, and now my monthly payment has gone up $92 a month.. I'm done with them!

Not sure if I’m a fan just yet. Not as friendly to “Walking Ins” , seemed like they were expecting me to have an appointment or know who I was there to see. Prices are not as comparable as I’d hope for while shopping for insurance; however, the agent was knowledgeable and thorough. They expect half down for the insurance policy so be prepared to bring your $$$ . I hope I made the right decision to switch insurance companies.

I have been with Personal Express Insurance for 3 years for my auto insurance, I even added my partner for his auto insurance. They go through National General Insurance. Throughout the years, I realize their system is a bit old. The website seems not friendly to use. Now a days accessibility to your information is a must. They randomly would raise the prices, we did not mind at first. Now with our home being insurance with them it we got a little disgruntled. Our house recently had major damages which required home insurance. The claims representative we had the worst customer service. It seemed like contacting them was a hassle. We would email them, call them. NO RESPONSE.

My partner and I were really frustrated at this point. We did not have a home and were staying in a hotel for months. We would got for weeks not getting an update from this claims rep. We finally decided to reach out to their manager, which helped us.

We pay all this money for insurance on our vehicles and our home. We decided to move elsewhere. It was not about the money but about the customer service for us. I would honestly recommend another company. The prices are great, but the quality/service is not great. At this point when we finally decided to move home. We switch to another insurance company.

Absolutely trash insurance company! Never had a company that we had to basically do their job and then send us a check we can’t even cash because somehow they put two different names on a check. Then you can’t even get ahold of your agent and for some reason no one else can even help you or contacts you back. Definitely dropping them for someone else.
