One of the tellers was extremely nice but the other one while she was training didn’t seem like she wanted to be bothered. Also there is no way I’m suppose to know to bring documents if I can’t even get ahold of a real person over the phone.

I felt so welcomed and appreciated being attended at this bank, it really is an experience like no other ive been to in the past it felt like being at home i was treated with respect and well informed throughout the whole process of opening an account. This people don't know what they are doing and have nobody to guide them. Also they pull their favorite customer out of a long line to help them and don't care for the rest. Terrible service.

I visited the Bakersfield Branch to open an account with a prior appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the door and directed to sign in on a tablet. Within five minutes, I began the account opening process, which took around 30 minutes. The procedure was smooth, and once I received my information packet detailing all the great benefits Golden1 offers its clients, I became an official member and was on my way.

After a few years of using this bank only bad thing about is they treat me like thief acusing me of fraud and they just close my account whitout make sure the money checks are good.after more than a month still have bad customer service seems like no one has been able to help bit ,but the money order has been paid to Golden 1 credit union Bank since January 23 I provide copy of the endorsement Pink slip for that money still have to wait for a 90 day to use my money my account is on hold or frozen what a shame for this people and bank. God Bless you all.

Went inside to make a deposit, was told I would be helped in a minute. The minute turned into over five minutes. No other customers inside being assisted or waiting. The branch manager was talking to the only teller working and ignored the fact that I was patiently waiting. Therefore I decided to walk out and use the ATM since customer service was too busy not assisting customers. The credit union needs major reconstruction.

I started banking with Golden 1 Credit Union in 1987. They have been wonderful working with. My checks have been automatically deposited from employment smoothly through retirement. Bakersfield branch has had several managers during this time, however, any problem or situation I have brought to their attention has always been mutually satisfied. I would just like to applaud the group in their now. Most tellers recognize me when I walk in. I am acquainted with the manager and it is an exceptional bunch of wonderful people who are working in the Bakersfield office. I am certain many will agree.
