We found Kevin and Kathy to be very personable, pleasant and easy to work with. They made us aware of and helped us get a $6,000 grant for our fortified roof which was installed on time and on budget. They also did a major renovation on our second floor. We hope to use StormGuard of New Bern again soon for a new deck.

Storm Guard gave the best overall experience. They assisted with my insurance claim from storm damage, and came out to meet with the adjuster.
The day of work being completed, employees arrived on time and took great care with their set up. The work completed was consistent with every attention to detail made. Ken worked with me to ensure my attic would have the best airflow possible as well as making suggestions for material color to give my property great curb appeal. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have repairs or roof replacement done.

Everything went great-from making the appointment to them coming out and fixing the problem. I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to determine the problem and fix it on the spot. Kevin got out a ladder and climbed up on the roof to inspect it. I am very happy with my new roof and the work they did. I would absolutely hire them again and will highly recommend them to all my family and friends

Storm Guard was recommended to us by two different friends who had them replace their roofs after Hurricane Florence. They were prompt to respond to our request for information and, after we discussed our options, they provided us with a detailed quote and began work within a week or so. Their crew was great--they really knew what they were doing and worked very efficiently. They also took care to not damage the shrubbery around our house and to clean up the debris. During the process it was easy to contact the Storm Guard management team (although no major problems arose). We are confident we have a good, strong roof and this is very important to our peace of mind here in Coastal Carolina. We highly recommend Storm Guard of New Bern!

Storm Guard replaced my roof after the hurricane. It took a while for them to get started but I believe that was related to insurance issues and the large number of projects they had post hurricane. They replaced the roof in just one day and it looks great!

I worked with Storm Guard to replace the roof on two of my home. Ken Comfort was my sales guy and he worked tirelessly with my Insurance company to make sure I got my roofs replaced. Ken was honest, clear, and over all empathetic to my needs. I was so happy with the work that I recommended Storm Guard to five of my relatives and they all used Storm Guard to do their roof replacements. I would never consider using another roofer.

Storm Guard did an amazing job installing our new roof. They provided a nice package which included shingle styles and colors, license credentials, proof of insurance, and warranty information. The owner Kevin went out of his way to help us get a proper insurance settlement. He even went on our roof to show the claims adjuster the current conditions of the shingles. (The adjuster refused to go on the roof by the way). We were on a time sensitive house closing which inspection required a new roof quickly and Kevin adjusted his work schedule to fit us in. We had 4 estimates from other companies and Storm Guard was by far the most impressive. They weren't the cheapest nor highest quote received. I generally don't give reviews but Storm Guard's professionalism, quality workmanship, response time, insurance assistance, and cost, deserved a review and 5 star rating from us. We highly recommend Storm Guard for your roofing needs. Contact other roofing contractors and you will see why we chose Storm Guard. Kevin, you were a life-saver. Thank you so much
