THE BEST MEAL I EVER HAD IN NYC! this experience was beyond perfection, all the food was delicious, I can’t choose a favorite dish but the burger was out of this world! The cocktails also were great perfectly balanced and the bartenders were so nice asking our preference and giving recommendations (thanks Ernesto). Also our captain Theo was so nice and kind! really informative and knowledgeable about the dishes always giving us the best suggestions. the highlight of the evening was the Chef! she is always checking everyone’s having the best time and enjoying the experience. Thanks to All the team. Impeccable restaurant!

The exterior of the restaurant is obscure but intriguing. Upon entering, I was greeted by a classically dimly lit ambiance that perfectly embodies the authentic fine dining experience found in New York.

The staff were genuinely passionate about sharing their knowledge and showed great respect for their roles in providing exceptional service to each customer. The food was beautifully presented, with each dish showcasing complex and orchestrated flavors that left me wanting to savor every last drop on my plate!
Thank you!!.

Staff was so attentive; Valentina made us feel special for our celebration. The canard (duck prepared table side), rabbit ravioli and salade chinoise were highlights — dessert was the best and cocktails were a delight. Happy we came here and experimented with something a bit different and new. Staff care very much to make everyone happy and taken care of. Plus the atmosphere is just one of cozy chic ness. We made friends with the table next to us. This was our second time here ; we will be back! At the bar next time 🍸

Phenomenal meal, wow. Great restaurant in all respects. Super comfortable too. Got the seafood Wellington, king salmon, salad and mini burger with fries. All beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, as you may see from the (dark, sorry) photo. We came with our 2 year old daughter and they were so accommodating. A must-go in the West Village!

Starting off with the service: this was on the same level of Eleven Madison Park, definitely in the top 3 best restaurant services I've ever received. They were meticulous, attentive, and friendly. It elevated the experience to an unforgettable one.
As for the food, everything we got was creative and absolutely delicious. We were wowed by the flavors and sauces for everything. The deviled egg was a strong start and one of my 2 favorite dishes. The trout was served raw, which I wasn't expecting, but it was a in a super creamy, unique potato sauce that made it standout and even better than anticipated. We split the crab Wellington which was a perfect dish to end on. We could have gone without the onions Nancy but it's one of their most popular dishes and was still good, just didn’t have the wow factor of other dishes. We also could have gone without the cheese but it was delicious and I have no regrets!
The only caveat is that the portions are small so you must get multiple dishes to be full and the dishes are pricey. However, if you come into this knowing it’s for a special occasion or with the expectation that this is a luxury dinner, your money buys you a much better dinner here than at many other similarly priced restaurants in Manhattan.

I would come back to sit at the bar and order a glass of wine & crab Wellington to split. I wish this place the best and hope the right crowd finds them because they truly created a remarkable evening!

From the moment we stepped into Le B, we knew we were in for something extraordinary. What unfolded was not just dinner—it was a masterclass in culinary creativity, orchestrated by a chef who clearly treats every plate like a personal signature.

The standout of the evening? The burger. But calling it a burger almost feels unfair. This was an experience in itself: perfectly aged beef, seared to a soulful crust, juicy at the center, nestled in a brioche bun that somehow managed to be both airy and decadent. Each bite revealed layers—subtle umami, a hint of smoke, and a whisper of truffle that lingered just long enough to feel like a secret shared by the chef. The house-made condiments were the finishing touch: bold yet balanced, elevating rather than overpowering.

We had the chance to meet the chef during our visit, and that alone was worth the reservation. Passionate, present, and fiercely talented, he shared insights into his process that made the meal feel even more personal. It’s rare to see that level of engagement from behind the kitchen doors.

Le B is a hidden gem turned headline act. Go for the burger, stay for the brilliance.

This is a very difficult review for me, because the food at Le B is amazing. BUT, check out my photos. I ordered a martini and for $30 the glass should have been full. The deviled egg was, in my opinion, unfortunately uninspiring. The glass of wine that I ordered was a 2018 Nenin Pomerol, which is a delicious wine, but I was poured just over a sip both times (see photos). That glass cost almost $60, and I indulged in two glasses. The squab appetizer and the smoked duck entree were both delicious.
Spending over $150 on a drink and two glasses of wine should have been a better experience, and it detracted from an otherwise lovely evening.
