If you need insurance I HIGHLY recommend Kevin McCarthy. We were under contract for almost 3 months, and closing got moved to many times to count, but Kevin was always on top of everything. We took our auto policy to him, and he saved us $600 a year. He almost always picks up on the first ring, and always gets back to me exactly when he says he will. As first time home buyers we had a lot of questions. Kevin answered all of them, explained all of our choices, and helped us pick the perfect one for our circumstances. After a terrible experience with my previous insurance carrier and the local broker, my expectations for a new agency were negative (cynical, suspicious, and hopeless). I am thrilled I followed through with switching agencies to Kevin's after several glowing recommendations from my neighbors. His proficiency made switching carriers and agencies easy and seamless. He provided several options that fit my criteria. The "hardest" yet satisfying component of this process was calling my previous agency to cancel my policy.

Of course, I renewed my policy, and Kevin was as meticulous and steadfast as he was before I became a new client. He stayed in touch throughout the year, even before my renewal date in the fall. His response time to all of my calls was immediate, or while searching for an answer to my question, his response time was very reasonable—something my previous broker did not do.

For instance, after our last brief call, I had a question about insurance payment before my renewal. I set a reminder to follow up with Kevin the following week, but he emailed me the answer and additional information about my query shortly after our call.

Efficient. Dependable. My policy mattered.

Sidenote, Kevin is very flexible with any form of communication. He has picked up that I respond primarily through email without me explicitly stating this. I appreciate this, considering my texts or calls are sometimes sporadic.
