I was charged $75 for hoover hose that cost $25 on eBay ($35 with tax + delivery).
When I picked up the machine the new hose wasn't even attached to the machine.
I was told the machine needed to be cleaned. I never asked for it to be cleaned its a hoover shampooer and is used once a year, all I asked for was a new hose.
100% markup was outrageous and the new hose wasn't even attached... That's the reason I hauled the machine to L and B in the first place....to buy a hose and have it attached.

They had all the parts that l needed for my old Hoover vacuum & he put them on for me in a flash! It would have taken me half a day to install them myself! VERY PLEASED!!!
