I can’t say enough amazing things about working with Marcie !! She was so kind and patient in helping us navigate a new season of life. I have so little knowledge about insurance and she so compassionately guided me through and worked so tirelessly to find the perfect fit for us! I would like to sing the praises of Spurgeon Tucker, an account manager for BCBS/WNC Health Insurance, Long Shoals Road location in Asheville, NC. I am 63 yr old and just needed health insurance until I turn 65. I had met with Spurgeon once before, but also have had several pleasant, very helpful phone conversations with him over the past couple months as I have deliberated between United Health and BCBS. I initially went with the former, which proved to be a massive mistake. Spurgeon respectfully listened to my plight and walked me through the "signing up" process with BCBS, in person, for over 1 1/2 hours, as if he had no other clients than me. I am not tech savvy, so Spurgeon happily walked me through every step, providing me with the pros/cons of every decision I needed to make to arrive at the best health insurance policy for me at this stage of life. I went from feeling completely neglected, disrespected, to feeling as if someone had my back and truly cared about my situation. I wholeheartedly recommend Spurgeon for your BCBS/Health Insurance needs. In this day and time where most large corporations do not care about you, how long you are on hold, whether you can understand the person on the other end of the line or whether you ever actually are able to speak to another human being, it has been a breath of fresh air and has restored my faith in humanity to have developed this relationship with Spurgeon Tucker and BCBS of North Carolina.
