UPDATE: I received a call from their CRO who explained that the branch was misinformed along weather circumstances caused the delay in my receiving my debit card. He also provided me with a $50 credit to my account as well a $50 gift card to a restaurant. I was able to a temporary card and finally my debit card. Again, Zef at the branch is lovely, super helpful, and contacted once my card came in. If you plan on opening an account, highly recommend working with Zef. She's very knowledgeable about banking and a swetheart!!

I opened an account at the beginning of this month with Zef. Zef was super friendly, helpful, and nice. This issue has nothing to do with her. It's regarding Unity Bank's back office who is apparently incapable of mailing a correct personal debit card. I received a business debit card which was closed out and was overnighted another debit card which has still NOT arrived. I was told it was taking longer than expected because of weather issues. I was advised by Zef that I can go to the branch and get a temporary one. On 2/24, I went to get a temporary card only to be told that the system won't allow it because the other permanent card was issued and is on the way. I would have to cancel that one and get issued a temporary card and then get another permanent one issued. I was told the latest it would be arriving is 2/27. I had switched over my direct deposit as I was looking to make this my main bank. As of 2/28, I still have not received my debit card that was overnighted back on the 17th according to the status update. I changed the direct deposit over back to my old bank since I couldn't risk having money in an account without access to it via debit card when I work their business hours. Needless to say, Saturday I'm going in to close my account. Not worth banking here if they can't get a simple debit card issued.

Best bank in the area. Smita, Zef, and DJ do an excellent job making you feel like you’re at home. I moved to this bank from one of the bigger banks and the personal touch at this branch definitely worth the switch. Super friendly and fast service.
