I am very impressed! (Which is hard to do). Every step of our flooring job from initial contact. to completion, went seamlessly. The price was fair and competitive. Stephen's communication was constant and clear throughout. He kept me constantly updated on the job status as well as time frames to the various stages of the install. Stephen met all the timeframes with very high quality results. His knowledge, experience, and strong work ethic were all very evident throughout the time he was here. Stephen installed a laminate Cap-A-Tread and risers on our staircase. Turned out great. Gave us a competitive quote, and showed up to install when he said he would. Knowledgeable about his craft. Had a sticky situation to deal with, that my flooring contractors left me to deal with, and he found a good way to fix it. Unfortunately, I didn’t find him before I had my floors installed. Cleaned up the mess before he left.

Stephen's Hardwood Flooring recently installed a new hardwood floor in our bedroom in advance of a master bathroom remodel by one of Greensboro's most highly respected home renovation contractors, Renata Renovations, who had previously done quality home renovation work for us.
Without reservation and hesitation, Gary Schoeppner, the owner of Renata, recommended only one professional to complete (and complement) the work the bathroom he was installing.
I'm not sure if I have enough adjectives to adequately describe our complete and total satisfaction with Stephen and Stephen's Hardwood Flooring. As a "young" couple in our 70's, we've contracted with many home improvement businesses over the years and we've even refinished our own floors when we were younger. Comparing contractors we have used in the past as well as our own limited experience in floor refinishing, some of the many superlatives I would use to describe Stephen and the quality and value of his work would be: professional, dependable, exceptionally skilled, a good communicator, courteous, respectful, a good listener, totally open to questions and concerns, an excellent teacher, and, finally, totally focused on uncompromising customer satisfaction. I guess I would have to say Stephen is in a "league of his own" and we would not consider using another flooring contractor for our flooring needs. Our only regret is we can only give Stephen 5 stars!!
We will likely have future home renovation needs. and will certainly use Stephen's Hardwood Flooring and Renata Renovations for those needs! Anyone considering other contractors, I would suggest you reconsider and go with the best of the best- Stephen's Hardwood Flooring and Renata Renovations!
