Nancy Keen is outstanding. She is my agent and has helped me through difficult times with insurance issues. Now that I'm up eligible for Medicare she is navigating the supplements for me. I purchased insurance from this agent in January when I bought a new car, but decided to go back to my old company in Feburary when I found out that it was cheaper for better coverage. I called to request cancellation a week before the new month's policy period (and payment) and was told I would be emailed a form to sign. I never got it. So i just let the insurance lapse. 2 weeks later I got a call from the same person I spoke to asking to cancel telling me my payment was late. I reminded her I had asked her to send me the cancellation form and was told she would "make a note of it." That was the last I heard from them. Today I received a bill from National General insurance for coverage for three weeks after I asked to cancel PLUS the month of coverage for February I had already paid for through the agent. WTH? I called National General directly, explained what had happened, and got the cancellation back dated to the correct date. I also told them that if they don't have a record of my payment I would be happy to provide it, and that they may want to consider their dealings with this shady agent in the future. Never again for me.
