We started our home search in July of 2020 knowing that we would be looking to actually purchase a home closer to when our rent was up in 2021. We looked at a TON of houses in the beginning without putting in any offers and Katie was always really helpful with knowing what to lookout for and even would recommend houses that came on she knew we would like. From the very beginning and through our closing day, Katie was very helpful and responsive. As first time home buyers, we had a high-level idea of what we wanted, but weren't entirely sure, which meant that we wanted to see a lot of places (e.g. 20-25), and had a lot of questions. Katie was always willing to schedule a showing, or meet up with us just to answer questions. The market in Madison (especially in the spring/summer) is very competitive, making it all the more important to work with someone who is always accessible and willing to help. Katie knows the market well and took the time to understand what we were looking for, making each showing more and more productive.

Katie helped us negotiate multiple offers and amendments, ultimately getting us to an acceptance. The condo was listed, we scheduled a showing, saw the property, and submitted an offer all within 24 hours, which demonstrates just how quickly and efficiently Katie works.

After we reached acceptance, Katie continued to be a helping presence. She clearly laid out the next steps leading up to a successful closing, answered my many many questions about the Condo disclosure documents - including hunting down some missing documentation - and ultimately made the process as stress-free as it could have been.

After acceptance, there was a point in the process when we got cold feet. I felt comfortable reaching out to Katie and talking about how we felt and how to move forward. She scheduled us a showing at a different property for the next day so we could get some perspective on the property we had purchased and ultimately decide how we wanted to move forward. I never felt pressured to stick with our acceptance and never got an ounce of impatience or annoyance on her part. For that, I can't thank her enough.

Because of Katie's dedication and support, we made it to a successful closing and have now been in our new property for a few weeks. We couldn't be happier with our new home and couldn't be more thankful to have worked with such a caring and dedicated person to make it happen.
