I had Garliss Roofing “repair” a leak in my roof recently. A couple months later it was leaking again in the same place. I reached out to Jody Garliss & company, but they never returned my calls. After countless attempts and messages left, I had a more reputable roofing company assess my problem. I was disappointed to find out that Garliss simply caulked over and around rotted wood that should have been replaced. It was a jack-leg/amateur fix. I paid hundreds for a job that was not done correctly, and likely took 15 minutes to repair. I am very disappointed in the horrible customer service, and would not recommend Garliss Roofing to anyone. There are many other better companies that treat their customers right. Save yourself time and money and use a more professional roofing company that has been around longer and appreciates their customers.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Our family used this company to replace our roof 18 months ago. A week after the roof was replaced, it rained and there was big wet spots in our living room, child’s bedroom and our master bathroom. We called Garliss Roofing and they sent someone out and apparently, he said our ridge cap was the wrong size - the ridge cap that they had just put on. This is what was causing the leakage. The next day, a crew came out and seemed to have fixed it. They let us keep a partial payment and they kept the remainder of it.

18 months later and our roof is still leaking and we are having to get another roofing company to fix what Garliss Roofing did incorrectly. We’ve given them countless attempts to make this right and now they will not return our calls. I would truly refrain from using them as a roofing company and go with someone else.

Garliss roofing was an overall good experience. After seeing a neighbor use the company, I ask them for a roof inspection to which they found hail damage. Jody worked with the adjuster to verify damage and helped file the insurance claim. During the removal of the current roof, there was damage to my current siding. Jody went above and beyond to clean, then match, then eventually replace all the siding on the house. This showed integrity and good business acumen. The roof and new siding looks great. Jody communicated well and met our expectations
