I’m will be personally going up to the office to find out who I was speaking to on the phone, sounded like an older woman. Had an attitude since she answered. I had a simple question about me and my child’s insurance and when I asked an additional question the woman YELLED at me, then I was hung up on. I have plenty of patience. That being said I will easily and patiently do what it takes to have this woman fired. I can only imagine the distress she would add to a woman’s life if I had been calling about something more urgent and then waited for an hour and 12 minutes to be hung up on. I only hope God gives her the same karma in life to be so unkind to a random stranger. Nobody forced this woman to get that job. If you hate it I highly recommend you do something about your life and not project your negativity into others.

Robert finally completed what has taken me many phone calls to multiple agencies to do. Every call before I got someone different who gave different info every time. Apparently they only have three people who do the adult SSI Medicaid and if they are busy you are automatically transferred to one of over 200 agents who do not document your calling. Those agents also are not well trained unfortunately. Robert went out of his way to help and get this completed. Make note of the person you talk to and the date.

I literally spent an entire day calling and emailing trying to speak with anyone regarding my elderly father’s benefits. I started at 9am. I had someone finally answer at 2:30pm only for her to disconnect the call mid sentence and not make any attempt to call back so we had to start all over. This is absolutely shameful! I even selected the call back option at one point to prevent the hold and still didn’t get a call back. In the meantime his benefits have been stopped and the renewal was submitted over a month ago.

The women at the front desk in the lobby are VERY helpful! I love that when you go to drop off any paperwork, documents, etc that they always give you a "receipt". The "receipt" has a photo of your documents, who the documents are for, who took the documents, the time, date, etc. That's very helpful in case your documents are "lost" or misplaced bc you're still able to prove that you did turn your stuff in, especially if it had to be in by a specific deadline.

Sometimes it gets REALLY busy BUT they do their best at trying to get the line down by having a worker take a list of who's there & what they're there for.

The social workers I've dealt with so far for Medicaid & food stamps have been very helpful & friendly. The workers with child services seem to be pretty good as well.

It's definitely a MUCH MUCH better environment with much nicer & helpful & honest workers than Nash County DSS!

I didn't have to wait but about 5 minutes and dropped off what I needed to drop off and was treated with kindness respect and the lady was very helpful when u ask her questions. Smooth transaction. Very happy

Don’t get me wrong when I first got there people were nice and respectful but idk who y’all be letting to pick up the phones cause whoever she was was incredibly rude and every chance she got wanted to make a sly remark or a smart 🍑 comment as if she don’t know how to do her job. If your gonna work somewhere especially in places like this have some respect and be more professional🤷🏽‍♀️ cause next time I won’t take such disrespect

I have had a great experience at Wilson Social Security Administration. The security was very friendly and greeted my when I came in and before I left. The lady at window number 4 was really patient and caring. Would give 10 stars if I could.

The people at the location are generally friendly and helpful. The customer service on the phone could use some work. It's very hard to reach an actual live person as you can wait on hold for hours just to get automatically disconnected. They have a feature where you can leave a call back number but no one ever calls back. It's a bit frustrating considering the website also has issues, so now you're almost forced to go to the location in person for simple questions.
