Pinnacle Southerby’s in Lake Lure , NC just sold me my 3rd property over the last 25+ years. Mike Holden has been my realtor on all three and always went above and beyond to make a good and clean deal. Tom Mc Quade always was there to assist and on this latest purchase Andrea Stewart assisted by getting me video , pictures, and other info. As a team I think they are excellent, I highly recommend them.

My family had a fantastic trip to “Souvenirs” home in Lake Lure, NC. The views were beyond amazing, & there were so many windows in each room to enjoy it! We all had a wonderful time sitting by the fire pit. It was very private, and by far the best rental property we have ever stayed in all together.
The huge gourmet kitchen was so nice, and equipped with everything we needed. It was fun to have a separate game room to hang out in. We enjoyed all of our meals at the beautiful long wood table in the dining room. There were so many places throughout the property that we could have time just relaxing, and also all get together when we wanted. It was very convenient to have a full bathroom for each bedroom. We also loved using the outdoor kitchen, and just enjoying the beautiful views from the patio. The hot-tub was relaxing as well, and was situated where you felt very private, but also being able to enjoy the phenomenal views of the mountains & the lake. We also had a great time going on a nature walk & sitting on the private boat dock. The entire trip was amazing - no issues at all! Customer service was great, and we definitely want to plan another trip to “Souvenirs” soon!

If you are looking to buy or sell property in the Rutherfordton/Forest City/Lake Lure area, I strongly recommend Thomas McKay of Pinnacle Sotheby’s Realty as your broker. Last year, we saw a house advertised online and made arrangements with Tom to come and view it. This was at the height of the Pandemic lockdown, so looking at properties for sale was not an easy proposition. However, Tom made the arrangements and we drove in to have a look. We loved the house despite numerous problems that had to be addressed, so we made an offer. The sellers were not willing to move very much off their asking price and we were a long way apart, so we elected to keep looking. However, Tom was not deterred, and he continued to make suggestions to both parties to keep negotiations alive. He arranged for inspections to be done and for contractors to give estimates for the work that needed to be accomplished. Ultimately, Tom was able to come up with a plan that was agreeable to both parties, and we are now happy residents of Rutherfordton. Just because we were ready to give up, Tom was not and because of his efforts, a deal was struck despite all odds. Through it all, his calm demeanor and ingenuity kept everything on track. He did a great job, and we strongly recommend him and his company to get it done. Larry and Lynda
