I am leaving 4 stars for the 2 EMPLOYEES that I encountered because they did a great job being very understaffed with a line out the door amount of people. I waited there for about 4.5 hours as a walk in because they are not accepting any appointments because they are booked out for 3 months so I was not happy at all but again that was not the employees fault. They were professional and polite.

As far management and whoever is running the place DO BETTER & get more staff. Maybe a little pay raise.

Walk in recommendations, I went March,2025. The staff is doing their best for the amount of people coming in. Be nice to them, it’s not on them!
Arrive at 8am to sit outside the building and wait. Bring a chair, food and water. Do not leave and come back. At 11/11:30 they will come out with a sign in sheet. They have a limited number of spots for the day. Once you get on the sign in list you sit in the lobby for another few hours to then get called up. Ended up being about 7 hours but I got my license.

I tried to call several times one day to ask questions about my renewal, the phone rings and goes to a recording that doesn't have a greeting, so I wasn't even sure if I had the right number, I'm deducting one star for that. I went in about 3:45 p.m. on a Tuesday, I had a very short wait and I must say my experience was completely not what I was expecting. The person that helped me was named Terry and she got me in and processed extremely quickly wished me a happy birthday and I left very happily surprised with the experience! Five stars for Terry!

Great service. Booked an appointment 3 months ahead as it was the only thing available. I was out of the DMV 30 mins after my appointment. Friendly staff. There was a long queue out the door for walk-ins.

This is by far the worst DMV in the country! The employees were horribly rude and unhelpful! They didn't even have a big enough waiting room, and were constantly and rudely ushering people outside because there was nowhere to sit. I had to wait 5 hours just to get a temporary I.D. in black and white. Not even the real I.D. On top of that I've been waiting 25 days for the plastic one to come in the mail, and it's supposed to take 15. Will it ever come?

Useless. The website says they have walk ins at noon, appointments are booked for months.

I arrived at noon to find a line. This location does not accept walk ins until 1.

As if the late start wasn't enough, Rlrather than allow people in the empty lobby, they had dozens of people sitting in the cold for hour. It was below freezing and snowing.

After allowing approx. 10 people in by 230, the manager came out and said they were almost at capacity.

I waited another hour for any updates as I was next in line.

Upon finally being let in, they were unable to do anything and completely unapologetic.

Disgraceful, it's a basic public service, it should not have to be a multi day affair.

I am disabled and it is extremely painful to stand for extended periods.

If I could fire every employee here, I would in a heartbeat.

There was a lady that needed a translator and the employees were treating her horribly like she wasn’t a human being. I had to step up and translate for her and reassure her that everything would be okay. This behavior is unacceptable and disgusting. Don’t come here. It’s better to go to the one on Patton Ave instead.

I gave a 5star because the UNDERSTAFFED office employees did an exemplary job moving everything smoothly.
But it is not a joke !!!
You need to be there at 6am to get a change to get serviced before lunchtime or you out of luck for the day .
