Ran my credit and stated it takes 1 business day to review with submitted documents. They told me my credit was good however since I had 6 or more inquiries they are not able to lend a line of credit to me. They also stated I needed to submit court documents for child support. I have never submitted court documents for child support payments not ever when getting a credit card. I will stay with SECU and Langley CU. Wanted to give them business since they were new in town. Also the representative stated they were short staff and it took about 3 business days for them to get back to me. Good luck to the branches the will open in NC. Donna at morrisville branch got right back to me after a few calls and explained the reasons. But seems they rules are a bit strict. Go with a better credit union.

I work for a dealership and was working with a young customer. He wanted to put $10k down on his new car.

He had a Chime account and there is no physical bank for Chine. Chime informed us we would need to go to a physical bank.

We thought we could just open an account at a credit union. I felt it would be great for him to start off his credit. He had over 20k to deposit. And he wanted a cashier check.

The older lady was extremely rude to us. Said she wouldn’t be interested in opening an account for him.

She didn’t ask for any info. Didn’t even know our names.

We went to Wood Forest Bank. They were happy to open up a new account for him with a 20k balance.

I felt discriminated against… I’m 1/2 Native American and my client is African American. She looked us up and down like we were bad people.

As a FedEx Employees Credit Union member needing to do some “in-person” interacting and discussing of accounts I looked to the chat/text service online through Welcome for some questions on whether or not they could assist me at their location closest to me. I was told to leave my name and phone number so that a representative would get back to me via text and I was impressed at the amount of time on a Friday afternoon it took for the associate to get back to me and give me ALL of the answers I needed to my many questions; especially because I am not a direct member of their credit union.

I’ve been a member with Welcome Credit Union for many years and just recently when I would call up there, Louise from the Morrisville branch has been very rude with me when I had questions to ask about my account. The first time when she got rude with me, she apologizes and said because she was the only one working there, so I let it slide but this second time just did it for me. Bad customer service on her end and needs to be evaluated!

Great place to establish a credit line. Welcome Federal Credit Union has always helped when financing a vehicle. They also gave me the best rate that no other lender could bet with 500 miles. Looked for a Charger Hellcat for while over 6 months. They stood right by me and stayed with the exact same rate and months financed. I honestly would not go anywhere else to finance any big purchases now. They helped me establish good credit, while at the same time getting the car I wanted. I couldn't ask for a better credit union to deal with!!! Thanks Ms. Rhodes and Welcome Federal Credit in Mooresville NC 😁👏

Convenient location. I will say the tellers are more business like than my prior shared branch. I went to my prior branch for five years and all the tellers were very friendly and personable. I only had to fill out the shared branch form once. At this bank I have to fill it out each time. It's a bit redundant. It's convenient to do my check deposits but I miss my previous shared branch. If I could go there instead I would.
