I love Pat and all the office staff! Everyone is very knowledgeable and kind. I have used them for 2 years now and will keep going every tax season. Their experience and knowledge helps to maximize my refund and they've even helped me with unique tax forms. Definitely recommend Gibson Tax Service!

I have never written a bad google review in my life.
But I have to express my experience with Gibson Tax.
My husband and I are both in the services. When we got home in August we called and were told everything was coming along smoothly. September rolled around and my husband called again. No problems.
Finally Oct came and I was getting nervous. I called and receptionist whom was very kind and quick to help. She talked to Ben and relayed that they have waiting for a piece of information on our tax return.
This was inhibiting the return to be complete.

The receptionist was awesome. She called me back. Communicated to me through email and phone calls.
I requested Ben to call me when he got the chance.
He never talked to me. Everything was through reception.
I felt disrespected and dismissed.

Long story short the lack of communication caused my husband and I a great deal of stress. Because of the poor communication we ended up paying fees to the IRS.

I felt badly about writing this review but I don’t know anyone to have to waste money and time on a bad tax return. My husband and I will not be returning and I do not
recommend Gibson Tax

Do not use these people. It took them until June 16th to finish my taxes! They will not call you back. My extended family and I have used Pat and Ben for years, as well as my co workers. They totally dropped the ball this year. I told them I needed my taxes back and they charged me double what they charged my co workers because I “was in a hurry” after 4 months of waiting! If they told me in January that they couldn’t take my business I would have understood. Don’t use them, they have gotten too big for their own good and forget the people who helped them grow. When I picked my taxes up the lady that handles the money had attitude and would not explain why my price changed, and Ben said the price is the price he doesn’t have to explain anything to me!

Pat and his team are awesome to work with!!! I've been going to them since I first had to submit taxes. They've done payroll and taxes for a business I used to own. Excellent and efficient service. I would drive hours just to go see them! They are that good.

We used Gibson Tax Service last year after moving the Lincoln County from Charlotte. Our neighbor in Charlotte has been using Gibson and has to drive an hour for tax prep. The neighbor is very satisfied with the service and recommended Gibson.

My wife prepared our taxes for decades, but with the move and selling the Charlotte house and buying a new house in Lincoln County, she opted to let someone else tackle the job. After last year and Gibson's service, she says she is out of the tax prep business.

While my wife is experienced in tax prep, she's happy to let Gibson Services do the work and file.

Pat and Ben are both extremely knowledgeable regarding tax laws and they do take time to meet with you and answer any questions you may have. We have personal and business expenses and they are thorough with both and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I’m very happy with the service I received. Very friendly and professional. It’s easy to tell Ben knows what he is doing. They found a mistake on our old tax return another agency did that cost us $1000’s. I’m currently taking our older returns in to recheck for mistakes.
