So if you’re thinking about cancelling your policy you better ask them the cost. Nationwide website says you can cancel your policy and there is no fee to cancel. However what they don’t tell you is that NC gives them the option to do a short rate cancellation to "cover fixed expenses” they don’t mention this when you cancel and about 2 weeks later you get a bill. No explanation as to what the bill is for other than its “Their right to charge it to you in the state of NC."

Not to mention the high priced premiums, terrible service and general lack of knowledge that comes from this specific office.

I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

I had nationwide insurance for ten years. In 2007 I had my roof damaged in a storm. They would only pay to have half of my roof fixed. It was clear to see that the whole roof needed to be repaired due to the storm. I missed one payment in ten years and they canceled my insurance... It was clear to see they only care about getting your check in the mail. The customer service sucks also. Since I was in the military i was eligible to join USAA. I am extremely happy with the way they run things. I will say in my opinion Bill Reams Nationwide Insurance sucks. I would not even grade the with one star.

Horrible! This guy will steal your money! Charging outrageous amounts high premiums when you don't need it! I had another nationwide agent review my profile because of horrible service I recieved, and another agent said he was charging outrageous amounts. I only had nation wide for acouple of months and worst decision I've ever made. They told me my payments would decrease after a certain amount of time and that never happen I switched to geico and they're way better than nationwide..nationwide is on your side? I think not! Not this guy. All about the $$$$$$ for him.
