My mother purchased a home within the last year, but soon after, we realized she needed to transition into an assisted living facility. I do not live in the area, and I did not know who can help me out, especially from over 1,000 miles away. I was referred to Barb by my neighbor, who is also with Compass, and I am beyond grateful for that connection.

From the very beginning, Barb handled absolutely everything as if the house were her own. She organized cleaners, took stunning photos, and managed the entire sale process seamlessly. My mother couldn’t participate due to her health, and I was preparing for a lengthy and stressful process, especially since the type of home we were selling is notoriously difficult to move. However, Barb exceeded all expectations.

We received an offer within a week—something I never expected! On top of that, Barb coordinated with the lawyers, ensured the house was completely cleared out, and regularly checked in on the property. She kept me in the loop every step of the way, making a potentially overwhelming situation feel effortless.

From the time I first contacted Barb to the closing date, the entire process took just over one month, and we even received an offer that was much higher than we anticipated. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made all the difference.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I had the joy of being able to work with Barb twice! She helped me buy my house when I was moving from out of state, making the entire process easy to navigate, & helped me keep money in my pocket when we found carpet damage that had been hidden up to the closing day. Then when it was time to sell, she helped me figure out what changes would be most appealing to buyers. When we began receiving offers, Barb would explain the pros and cons of each offer beyond their face value (is the buyer reliable for what they’re offering, inspection vs buying as is, etc). When our buyer had a situation come up that delayed closing, Barb negotiated to get the extra month of expenses I incurred back in closing! But most importantly, I liked working with Barb as a person. She’s genuine, funny, and you can tell she’s absolutely dedicated to her craft. 10/10 experience.

My wife & I had a poor experience with our previous realtor & were referred to Barb by a friend. Our previous realtor was very pushy so we knew we didn't want that in our next realtor. Working with Barb & her team was a breath of fresh air & a complete 180 versus the previous realtor. It was one of the best decisions we have made by switching over to Barb & her team. Barb & her team went above & beyond to help us find our first home.

We went under contract on a house with Barb & had the home inspection completed. Barb helped get us a quote on some of the work that would need to be done by getting an actual roofing company to come out to the house & quote a new roof. Ended up being around $26,000, which we were not comfortable with & ended up backing out of the sale. Absolutely no push back from Barb, which we were not used to because of our previous realtor. Barb supported us in our decision to back out of the sale & continued to help us keep looking for our first home.

With the market being how it was in 2023-2024 it was challenging to find something within our budget & in the location we wanted but Barb never lost faith & helped us every step of the way until we finally found a home in our price range & in the neighborhood we were looking for. Once we were under contract on our new house Barb was an outstanding resource & helped us with every step & answered every question we had...and we had a lot of questions. She also had great references for anything outside of her direct scope of work. We closed on our house & still had some questions after moving in & Barb & her team are still very responsive & continue to answer any questions we have & guide us in the right direction.
