Debra is my real estate agent. She is a very detailed person and very organized. She constantly kept me informed regarding feedback from showings and stayed in touch with other realtors to make sure their clients had a chance to see my house. I didn't know much about real estate until I decided to sell my house due to job relocation. She is always on top of everything. She reviewed every single document with me to make sure I understood what the risks were if any.
I admit that I am not the easiest client to take on, but she pleasantly put up with me even though I tried to act like I was a real estate agent. Trust me, I learned my lesson. We received an offer on the house, the client wanted to close the deal in three weeks, and I already proceeded with buying a property close to my work. But suddenly at the last minute, the buyer had cold feet and decided not to proceed. I freaked out because I had already made a deal to buy my new property, but luckily, Debra had already arranged for a back up.plan with another offer even before the first client decided not to buy my house. I would say that the minute the first client put an offer on my house, Debra already secured another offer as a back plan in case of an emergency. I was so relieved and impressed how Debra was able to work out a great deal in a very short time with the new client and even ended up closing the deal at the oroginal cloding date. Debra, her team and the mortgage lawyer worked overtime to make sure it was a done deal. They worked none stop and as I said, we even closed on the original closing date that was set by the first client who quit on us.
Amazing how it all worked out in a short time.
