After a brief search we hired the Baker McNicholas Group (BNG) to sell our Lake Bluff home in early August. We decided to use BNG because of their track record of selling 50+ homes a year and our belief that the team could relate to my wife and me and more importantly to today's younger buyers. We met at the house to discuss how to prep the home for sale. We developed a game plan to update the house. Alissa led this effort and both Laurie and Peter contributed. Despite the high demand the trades were experiencing BNG were able to assemble a team of 8 trades and all of the work was done in four weeks. It was clear that BNG uses these trades a lot and they set aside other projects to work on our home. The home was listed at the beginning of September with showings almost immediately. We accepted an offer about three weeks later and closed the second week of November. The process was smooth, good communication throughout.
